Ugh, that's a really good point--people hogging reservations when they're not even sure they will use them and then people who would use them can't get them, or have to keep checking back to see if there are any openings. Yeah, this could be a mess.

Gray -- Agreed on 180 days. Planning will have to get tighter. I also fear that there will be an increase in "booking just in case," meaning ADRs might be taken up by people who aren't yet certain about their vacations.

Wow! What a great roundup this week! Good reading (and viewing). I love the idea of eating by theme around Disney World, as Max did with the chocolate cakes. And that soup looks amazing (though somewhat fattening). The only thing I don't like about moving ADRs out to 180 days is that it kind of cripples people who are only planning trips 3-4 months in advance. You could be SOL when it comes to the dining reservations you want because of all those early birds. :-) I do love Disney's Give a Day, Get a Day promotion--it's the best thing I've seen come from any corporation in a long time. It doesn't hurt them to offer it, and many nonprofit organizations will benefit. What a great idea.
