Wow, the candied fish don’t look all that bad. Any idea what sort of fish they use?

Also, the Fish and Chips from Rose and Crown are actually pretty close to the real thing. Still a favourite.

  2. Joy4Tigger says:

Okay, I am NOT going to be trying any candied fish in this lifetime!

  3. Galloping Gourmand says:

That candied fish made me think of a new feature for the blog. “Disney Dare you to Eat it: World Showcase.” I’m sorry I live up here in New England/New York and can’t be a contributor ;)

  4. Alan says:

I’ll reluctantly eat a Swedish fish but a Japanese candied fish … I don’t know. The first two pictures has me thawing out a nice piece of grouper.

  5. AJ says:

Josh — Not sure! You’re going to have to check out the candied fish on your next visit and let us know!

    Joy — I’m with you!

GG — Hmm… great idea! I’ll add the salted fish candy in Norway to that docket.

Alan — Have a wonderful meal! :-) I agree…I’m not sure I’ll be diving into a piece of Japanese candied fish anytime soon.

  6. Sarah says:

I bought the fish for my dad a couple years back. I don’t think he ever tried them though! I bought the little dried crabs for myself and they weren’t very tasty!
