St. Patrick’s Day Events and Menus in Disney World and Disneyland

We certainly don’t need a reason to celebrate (with beer!) while visiting a Disney park, however we’re really excited about the extra Irish-inspired fun that Disney is dishing up for St. Patrick’s Day. Below, we detail events and special menu items throughout Disney World and Disneyland!

Raglan Road, WDW Downtown Disney
Raglan Road opens their doors at 11:00AM on St. Paddy’s Day for a full day of festivities! The fun begins at Noon with musicians, dancers and face painting. While savoring the traditional Shepherd’s Pie, look for the house band, Creel! In the evening, toast your Irish friends and watch eLevation as they perform your favorite U2 songs. There is a $10 cover charge.

Raglan Road

Earlier in the week, Raglan Road is celebrating with a few more events! This Sunday, attend their first ever traditional Irish Ceili (pronounced kay-lee) and join in the Irish dancing! As Lorraine from Raglan Road says, “We’re pushing the furniture back and letting everyone join in!” Sounds like fun! Click the image for a larger view…

And don’t forget the two incredible meals being created by Master Chef Kevin Dundon on March 14th and 15th! Visit on the 14th for a culinary master class, and on the 15th for a Tables in Wonderland signature meal!

World Showcase, Epcot
So, you’ve decided to drink around the world. World Showcase, that is. Your tour can begin at 11:00 a.m. and should include a stop to listen to the Celtic band, Off Kilter.

The Rose & Crown Pub is your place to get a pint of Guinness poured with a shamrock head.

And if you are staying at a Disney-owned resort, you’ve already got a safe ride home!

WDW Downtown Disney
Fulton’s Crab House is offering a Fulton’s Crab House St. Patrick’s Day Prefixe for Two, featuring Irish Potato Leek Soup; Sliced Corned Beef and Cabbage, Red Wine marinated roasted shallot, roasted parsnips and carrots; and St. Patrick’s Day Green Beer!!

Portobello is offering a specialty St. Patrick’s Day drink: the Café Irlandese includes 1 oz Triple Olive Espresso Vodka, 1/2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey, 1/2 oz Liqueur 43. It’s served chilled in a martini glass with a dollop of whipped cream.

and Wolfgang Puck Café, all served special meals for the March 17th holiday. Stay tuned for news on this year’s menu options with an Irish twist.

Disneyland
In Disneyland, head to Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen for Blazing Dueling Pianos & Green Beer from 9PM-12AM!

Last year, Marceline’s Confectionery served up green-inspired chocolate treats.

Cheers!

I have been to several half way to St. Patrick’s day parties at Raglan Rd. The first year I was there they had some food specials and beer specials and gave out great mardi gras type beads and neat hats. The next year they cut out the specials but still gave out the beads and hats. Now, I don’t know if there always was a cover charge for the actual holiday but I hope there is some value for the $10 per person. A family or group of 5 would be paying $50. That seems like a lot to listen to music when there usually is no cover.
