It’s apparently a breakfast-y week here on the Disney Food Blog, so here’s another fun, nourishing post about the most important meal of the day! When your main goal is conquering Space Mountain after rope drop or securing FastPasses for Toy Story Mania, a quick breakfast will help get you there before thousands of your fellow vacationers!
The most mentioned breakfast items were cinnamon rolls, Mickey waffles, and muffins (mostly blueberry)! Favorite Orlando and Anaheim locations for early morning fueling were the Main Street Bakery in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Disney Resort food courts, and White Water Snacks at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort.
Walt Disney World and Disneyland
Many locations are available for quick-service breakfast items in Disney’s Orlando and Anaheim theme parks. With the quick-service locations at the hotels, finding a bountiful breakfast is extremely easy.
Not to mention there are always stocked bakeries at the parks such as Starring Rolls in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Main Street Bakery at the Magic Kingdom. In Disneyland, stop by the Blue Ribbon Bakery!
These extremely large, gooey rolls are filled with cinnamon and dripping in flavorful icing. Facebook friends Julie B., Christie H. and Amy K. are likely to be in line for one of these early morning starters.
These iconic waffles are served throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Many guests like to grab one at their resort’s food court before making their way to the parks. You can also grab big ones at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom! Facebook friends Jolyne H., Ellen A., and Amanda G. favor the Mickey waffles!
Lisa D. simply exclaims “Mickey waffles and bacon!!!!”
Muffins are sold at the resorts and bakeries around Walt Disney World and Disneyland. These breakfast items are easy to eat on the bus or car ride to the theme park and can easily be enjoyed while waiting in line at the turnstiles.
Denise S. shares that “Pop Century Resort has the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had. Add a cup of coffee and you have a great start to a wonderful morning.” Facebook friends Fran S., Tara M., and Stacey E. can be found enjoying muffins on the go!
While blueberry muffins are extremely popular, muffins are offered in many flavors (lingon berry!) including seasonal concoctions. Check out the Disney Food Blog review of Disneyland’s cherry granola muffin sold at the Blue Ribbon Bakery.
Rebecca C. suggests “Chocolate chip muffin from the Boardwalk Bakery! Yummy!!”

Katie K. gets her morning dairy portion with a Mickey ice cream bar.
And I like Theresa M.’s breakfast style — “We grab a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake from Starring Rolls. What better way to start the day than with a sugar rush?” Yep, I’m gonna sign up for that touring plan!
Other readers suggested cost-saving measures and snack credit savings for breakfast. Alicia D. advises “I bring my own Cheerios & disposable bowls.” Ben C. has “Oatmeal packets in the room with hot water from the cafe or coffee maker.”
