As many of you know, we just launched our brand new e-Book — The DFB Mini-Guide to Epcot Snacks! And today I’m thrilled to highlight another great snack tip from the e-Book! Remember, you can get your copy for $2 off this week only — head over to http://dfbminiguides.com/epcotsnacks and use code EPCOT for the discount!
Today, we’re taking a look at one of Disney’s best throwback snacks — a Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Float at Epcot’s Fountain View Cafe!
While this snack will only set you back one Disney Dining Plan snack credit (or $4.39 if you’re paying out of pocket), you’re actually getting a great two-for-one deal: ice cream and a beverage (which, if you purchased them separately, would cost considerably more).
While I can’t save you calories on this one…I can give you a great combo snack! And this is another one of those great snacks that you can’t find too many more places in Walt Disney World. While many spots offer soft-serve floats, very few will give you a hand-scooped float!
Find this and MANY more snack tips for eating in Epcot in The DFB Mini-Guide to Epcot Snacks! We also have ideas for snacks that can work as meals, and some of our favorite good-for-you snacks!
Find it all here in the The DFB Mini-Guide to Epcot Snacks! Don’t forget to use code EPCOT at the check-out for your discount this week only!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice scoop of ice cream in Oct 2010 at Fountain View Cafe but before that I have to admit I didn’t even know that place was there! It was a great place to relax and enjoy a cold treat. BTW, I just got the Epcot snack guide today and already have found a handful of things I didn’t know about! yay!
Marci — That’s so great to hear!!
Thanks for the Fountain View review!
That is one of my DH favorites things to drink. They are just so yumm oh.
Jenny — Agreed — they’re awesome. I was so glad to find a hand-scooped version in Epcot!
