Menu Changes: Epcot’s Le Cellier Steakhouse Lunch Menu

Epcot’s Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion has changed up their lunch and dinner menus yet again. We’ve got the lunch menu for you here, but I’ve got a full review coming up for dinner very soon!

In fall of 2011, we reviewed the eats during the last menu change.

Let’s take a look at the most recent alterations! No worries — many fan favorites remain, like the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, Mushroom Filet, and Maple Creme Brulee!

    As long as they NEVER EVER EVER remove my filet and the mashed potatoes, they can do whatever they want to the menu! :)

    I’m sad to see that the Tomato Stack is gone from the menu. With carmelized onions, cucumbers, crumbled blue cheese, and yuzu vinaigrette, my husband and I thought it was one of the best appetizers we’d every had. Even attempted to replicate it at home! Am hopeful the Tomato Salad will be every bit as tasty.

    I FINALLY got a reservation at Le Cellier Easter weekend for lunch for my birthday so thank you for sharing the changes! However, I really wanted the chicken crepe so I’m disappointed that’s gone :(

    It seems to me with these changes to the menu, they are making a push towards the restaurant becoming a signature dining experience for both lunch and dinner.

    Have gotten to eat there every time we have tried for reservations! Daughter was bummed when they took away the pork chop, she will be so excited! I miss my coffee rubbed steak though! Oh, well! It is still fab!

    Oh man, I have lunch reservations here for our honeymoon and I had a small heart attack when I read your post title! It’s all good though, so long as the mushroom filet is still there!

    We just ate here on Sunday (3/18) for lunch and it was the best meal of our trip! The House Burger and the Pork Chop won rave reviews in our group and you can’t beat the Prix Fixe option, so much food for the price – we really enjoyed it!

    I’ve only eaten there once and have been wanting to go back again. We’re going in Nov. and I’m so relieved that they still have the Filet with the Mushroom Risotto; it’s heavenly.

    Niki — Word is that you cannot get the to-go soup any longer. :-(

    I have never eaten at Le Cellier, but I have heard that the food is wonderful. It looks to me like they took away some of the more, for lack of a better word, exotic items and replaced them with less creative food. I am seeing this more and more and Disney retaurants and it is so disappointing.

    I’m sorry that the tomato stack is gone it was really yummy and I would have really liked to have tried the brussel spouts with the bacon butter. Of course I think I’m most likely alone in that,lol, but I think that sounds yum-o!

    Courtney — I’ll check my photos to see if I saw the choc whiskey cake on the dessert table!

    Jen and SharonC — You still get the pretzel bread, though the bread basket looks a bit different than it used to! All the same breads are there, just in different physical shapes!

    Looks like they’re going away from traditional Canadian food too. If I wanted miso-glazed salmon with soba noodles, I’d look in the Japan showcase. Duck confit and chicken cordon blue don’t sound Canadian either. I suppose since they speak French in some parts of Canada, they think it’s O.K. to serve french food.

    I agree @Eeyore. I was just going to ask how in the world Miso-glazed Salmon could be considered Canadian fare?! I will accept the French inspired foods because so many parts of Canada are French-speaking. But taking away maple and replacing with miso? Come on Le Cellier….

    I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Le Cellier earlier this month. This was the menu I had, and I thought it was a nice change. It does seem like the food is not themed quite as well, but the quality is still top notch.

    The Filet was amazing, as was the poutine. Risotto of any type is one of my favorite dishes, and I was very impressed with Le Cellier’s. I also was able to sample the gnocchi and the whiskey cake. It was such a great experience. I would recommend Le Cellier lunch to anyone.

    I noticed a lot of menus are dated 0312. So far I haven’t seen any differences that jumped out at me.

    My 13-year old nephew raved about how good the Maple Salmon tasted, and he is from Seattle where they have excellent salmon. My hubby & son will be sad as they were looking forward to trying this dish on our next trip.

    I think it makes absolutely no sense to replace the popluar Maple Glazed Salmon with an Asian inspired Miso Glazed Salmon. If I wanted asian inspiration in my food, I’d walk over to the Japan pavillion. Canada should stick with it’s own foods. Maple is a staple in Canada and should remain on the dish to leave it appropriately inspired.

    How does the dining plan work here for lunch? Is it only the prix fixe or what? My wife and I got reservations for lunch there in 2 weeks and we have no idea how it will work for a table-service from the dining plan.

    NickNak — Nope, it’s not the prix fixe. It’s just like any other table-service restaurant — you’ll order entree, drink, and dessert on the plan. If you order anything else, it will be paid for out of pocket. If you have other questions, just let me know. :-)

    My husband and I recently ate dinner at Le Cellier and we thought the Brussels Sprouts were the best we’ve ever had! :)
