Sneak Peek! New Epcot Food and Wine Festival Menu Item PHOTOS!
I can’t wait to share some of the new (and returning) items for this year! Here we GOOOO!!!
The Sustainable Chew Booth — NEW to the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Have you heard the news? ABC’s The Chew will be taping a few episodes live from the Festival, and two new booths will debut in Future World to celebrate the occasion! Coming to the Sustainable Chew Booth, we got to try the Pork Spareribs with Cheesy Mascarpone Grits (the grits were delicious!).
This was paired with the beautiful Frozen Chew-tini, a blend of Crop Organic Meyer Lemon Vodka, Carrot Mango Juice and Citrus Sour Mix. This one is incredible; definitely plan to add this to your list for the festival.
Chew Lab Booth — NEW to the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The Chew Lab — blending culinary trends and food science — will feature New York Strip, Parsnip Silk, Balsamic Glaze and Arugula Foam.
And check out The Smoking Hibiscus (featuring Montelobos Mexcal Joven) we tried along with it!
A bit of Liquid Nitro for dessert, anyone (a Chocolate Almond Truffle with warm whiskey caramel)?
The Art of Wine and Cheese — NEW to the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
The Art of Wine and Cheese is coming to Future World! The Wine Studio and the Cheese Studio are two new kiosks (made to resemble an artist’s studio) that will provide guests with the opportunity to choose and pair flavors of wine and cheese.
I can’t wait to try the Karst Cave-Aged cheese, which is part cheddar and part gruyere!
Pairing novices and experts alike are welcome!
Dominican Republic Booth — RETURNING to the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
Get ready to welcome back the Dominican Republic Booth! Returning from a hiatus (it was last at the Festival in 2007), it will come back with a brand new menu item: “Pescado con Coco,” a Seared Grouper, Pigeon Peas and Rice, and Coconut Sauce.
Farm Fresh Booth
It was hard to bid goodbye to one of our favorite dishes from 2014, the Peppered Bacon Hash, but I am loving the brand new dish in its place — Loaded Mac ‘n Cheese with Nueske’s Pepper Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Peppers and Green Onions!
The Brazil Booth is coming back with a new menu item.
Check out the “Escondidinho de Carne” Layered Meat Pie with Mash Yucca. It was a clear favorite at the festival preview today!
We are excited to see the Salmon and Quinoa return at the Patagonia Booth for 2015!
Are you ready for this? Haggis with Neeps and Tatties will return to the Scotland Booth this year… BUT this time, it’s a traditional MEAT version (as opposed to the veggie version of Festivals past)!
And the Fresh Potato Pancake with Scottish Salmon and Herb Sour Cream is coming back.
Get a load of the new Tipsy Laird! It’s whiskey-soaked cake with lemon cream and toasted oats.
The Citrus Thistle featuring Hendricks Gin makes its debut this year! Yum!
We got word that the Africa Booth will be serving up Butter Chicken with Micro Cilantro and Naan Bread (!!!).
New Zealand Booth
The New Zealand Booth will be offering a new item as well.
Get ready for Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Marsala Sauce and Kumara Dumpling.
The fan favorite Ireland Booth is coming back!
And it’s bringing the Warm Chocolate Pudding with Kerrygold Irish Cream Liquor Custard right back with it!
The Australia Booth is back for 2015!
Returning from 2012 will be the Lamington Yellow Cake Dipped in Chocolate and Shredded Coconut.
Stop by the Refreshment Port for a staple…
You know how much I love me a Croissant Doughnut with cinnamon and sugar.
So… hungry yet ;)?
