Comments

  1. Jeni says

Did you say purchase a map for Remy’s Scavenger Hunt? Booo. Everything else though: Yey!

  2. DebC says

That Arugula foam kind of looks like what I have in my lettuce keeper if the lettuce stays too long in my refrigerator and starts to decay.

  3. William Neater says

So upset that the Veggie Haggis isn’t there!!! This was a great way for us vegetarians to experience a GREAT dish!!!! Upsetting of there won’t be a veggie option…it’s what makes that unique!! There are a lot of additions, but sadly, too many of them are meat-centric. I’d love for the chefs to expand their talents and have more veggie options added too!! We NEVER go hungry…no worries…I just want to see as much innovation on the veggie side too!

  4. says

Chris — We’re still waiting to hear about Greece. We should know very soon if it returns to the lineup in 2015.

  5. Joan says

Do you know when Chase Card Members will be able to book seminars and special events?

  6. Celery says

Any idea whether the special event: Dining Through the Decades – A Tribute to Walt Disney will be offered again this year?

Is the list of special events complete or could there be more added?

    Thanks!

  7. Heather says

The information for the new “Tasting Sampler” states that it includes priority seating to the 6:45 Eat to the Beat concert on the day of purchase. Does this mean that you cannot purchase this ahead, only on the day of your visit to Epcot?

  8. Andrea says

I’m kind of disgusted that the “sustainable” booth features nothing but animal products and that the only place to any *anything* vegan out of the entire festival will not be returning. There is absolutely zero reason for me to venture into Epcot during these months now. This is really upsetting. I’ll definitely be writing in about this.

  9. says

Celery — Things can always be added for sure. Last year, there were special events and packages added into August. But we have no word about the Dining Through the Decades Event returning for 2015.

  10. says

Andrea — We should have the full menus soon, and we’ll definitely keep you posted about vegan options that we see.

  11. Maria says

Brooke- Any reason why it won’t be returning? Last year it was their biggest hit with massive lines. I thought I read last year on here that they signed a 5 year contract?

  12. DebC says

How was the 3D event last year? We went in 2013 and it was terrible. More whiskey and vodka than desserts or wine. And the desserts they had were not good. Seasoned popcorn, ice cream in the shape of a hot dog frozen hard as a rock, donuts soaked in whiskey. We were really disappointed and left early.

  13. Mohatu says

Awww, I hope you don’t want to tell me that they replaced the Crispy Pork Belly with this thingy at Brazil? That was the absolute best thing the Festival served, hands down… closely followed only by LeCellier Filet Mignon and possibly the France’s Boeuf bourguignon. What a bummer if it’s true.

  14. Stefanie says

That Escondidinho de Carne has my name written all over it! I can’t wait to try it! Thanks of the update! :)

  15. MiRiam says

I can’t believe that WDW is actually charging for a scavenger hunt! With tickets over $100 for a day, they are skating on thin ice here. It’s not like epcot has anything new and exciting going on, except for Food and Wine and Flower and Garden (now that they have food and wine offerings).

  16. Maria says

    Miriam,
Are you serious? If it’s anything like the Easter egg hunt the map is only $4.95 no need to freak out.

  17. Kimber says

So disappointed Terra is not returning. I have been looking forward to it since we decided to go back after our trip last year. Will you publish a list a vegan dishes to help us out?

  18. Eileen Zaror says

So disappointed, was looking forward to the food at Puerto Rico booth this year. What happened ???

  19. DebC says

The Le Cellier lunches are the same time and about the same price as the Beer Pairing we did in 2013 with Unibroue beer (those were $90 each). The chef for those meals this year is the chef from the new Italian restaurant at the Boardwalk, not the regular chef at Le Cellier. Al Youngman. Unless he has moved to a different restaurant. I think other years Al Youngman might have been over all the specialty meals and just did the 2013 as something new. It might be a wine pairing instead of beer or cider. I wish they gave more information.

  20. says

DebC — Chef Dee is now the chef at Le Cellier, I believe. A new chef from Golden Oak has taken over at Trattoria al Forno. Chef Youngman has probably gone to a different location. Chefs usually move around every couple of years.

  21. Vicki says

Will there be a special event on the first Saturday like there has been the past 2 years? 2013 had Scotland and 2014 Puerto Rico.

  22. Christina says

In one of the earlier posts, you mentioned being able to purchase a limited edition gift card for the food and wine festival. I have been all over Disney’s website and I can’t find any information about it. Where can I find that?

    Thanks!
