A brand new restaurant is opening SOON at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!
In fact, it looks like Monday, February 13th, may be the date set for the opening of Geyser Point Bar & Grill, a pool bar that will blend in with the Pacific Northwest feel of the Resort. (And, yes, this location was originally slated to open in the summer, sooo… SURPRISE!! ;-D).
Signs pointing to Monday as the opening date are found on the Disney World website, which mentions current refurbishment projects going on around the Lodge.
As indicated in the text, the Lodge’s indoor Counter Service restaurant, Roaring Fork, and Trout Pass Pool Bar will simultaneously close for refurbishments. Geyser Point Pool Bar & Grill is listed as the alternate Counter Service location for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (Territory Lounge will also continue serving continental breakfast items for the mornings).
And, indeed, Roaring Fork comes up with “No Times Available” beginning Monday, February 13th.
So, in its opening phase, Geyser Point Pool Bar & Grill will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Will it be serving the Roaring Fork’s morning signatures with Specialty Mickey Waffles like Bananas Foster and Chocolate Lovers, or a selection of Seasonal Beverages a la Trout Pass?
I guess we’ll find out soon, when Geyser Point Bar & Grill opens at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!
