Walt Disney World’s Minnie Van Service UPDATE

The Minnie Van service is a Disney-operated personal ride program available in partnership with the Lyft app, featuring Disney World Cast Members as drivers. When the program made its debut last year, it was first available to guests only at select Deluxe Resorts.

However, the rollout of the program has expanded over the past several months. And now, the rollout is complete and guests staying at any Disney World Resort — Value, Moderate, and Deluxe — can access the service, as well as guests at Four Seasons Orlando and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. (Guests who already have the service on their apps can get rides to and from any on-property location at any time.)

My friend and I used them this past trip, and the main thing we noticed was that the resorts knew all about them, and the Guest Relations in the park knew practically nothing about them, including where to meet them. The only reason we knew where to get them in Animal Kingdom was because a parking lot attendant we happened to pass knew exactly where. Keep this in mind.

Who would I need to contact to see if I can request the Minnie Van at Shades of Green?

Love your videos! I didn’t know about the resort parking charges. We have always used Disney transportation and feel that the convenience is worth the wait. The most frustrating times are when people are pushy or inconsiderate of others.
