As the Disney company’s environmental initiatives move forward, were seeing more and more changes in regards to single-use plastics across Disney destinations.
For instance, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosks around Walt Disney World are now serving up their iced coffee beverages with paper straws, as is the case at the Joffrey’s kiosk in Epcot’s Future World.
As the transition is very much in progress, you may still — at press time — receive a plastic straw with your drink.
However, once this current supply of plastic straws is depleted, they will move entirely to paper straws.

Leslie says
Can we have some paper lids also? Lol. There’s nothing more terrifying than trying to carry a tray full of food and drinks without lids through the mass of people.
Jayne Townsley says
I don’t mind the paper straws and am thankful they are at least providing straws as I was under the impression that they were doing away with straws altogether.
The lid issue, though…that really needs to be reviewed. No lid is no good.
