Welcome to our latest update of What’s New in Magic Kingdom!
We’ve got a lot to cover today (including Halloween treats!), so let’s get started.
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Before we dive into what we found on our most recent visit, we want to point out that a whole bunch of Halloween-themed snacks debuted last Friday in Magic Kingdom like Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake and the Pumpkin Spice Milkshake.
Some of these snacks are exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party while others are available throughout the Halloween season in Magic Kingdom.
Main Street, U.S.A.
In Main Street Bakery, the Hocus Pocus-themed Amuck Cupcake is now available in addition to the Mouseketeer Cupcake. The Trick or Treat Candy Cupcake is filled with caramel sauce and topped with chocolate buttercream icing, peanut butter chips, chocolate candy bits, toffee, a cake cauldron, and a Sanderson Sisters white chocolate decoration.
It’s a fun cupcake, but it was super messy when we tried it!
At Joffrey’s Revive, we spotted some Halloween-themed mini donuts that looked like mummies, spiders, and monsters.
If you love candy corn and cotton candy, you’re in luck because a couple popcorn carts around the park had candy corn-flavored cotton candy!
We also spotted Halloween-themed popcorn buckets around the Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom’s candy kitchens are now offering a Halloween treats, like Witch Minnie and Jack Skellington caramel apples.
We couldn’t resist grabbing the Jack ‘o Lantern Mickey Rice Krispie for ourselves! This is one of the pre-packaged Rice Krispie treats you can find at The Confectionery. Though he’s covered in fun colors, this treat has no special flavors. He’s just a plain and delicious Disney Rice Krispie!
We have seen versions of him in the past, but this year they have added a bit more black frosting and bright yellow to the eyes. If you want to grab this treat, can find it over at The Confectionery for $5.49 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
If you’re looking to add some color to your drink, we found Rainbow Glow Cubes at Casey’s Corner, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Pinocchio Village Haus, Columbia Harbour House, AND Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Between Fantasyland and Liberty Square, construction is still underway on the Cinderella Castle walkway. We’re crossing our fingers that this walkway will reopen soon! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more updates on this project.
It looks like they may have received new tables as well since the tables used to be more round in shape.
Also in Tomorrowland, the TRON coaster continues to take shape. This attraction is modeled after Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run and is slated to open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
In Adventureland, we spotted a new Moana baby doll ($24.99) at Agrabah Bazaar. If you’d like to grab this doll, you can also find it in Big Top Treats over in Storybook Circus.
Agrabah Bazaar also had a The Lion King safari book ($24.99) on display by the registers. We’re not super sure if this book is new, but it comes with a telescope viewer and features none other than Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa!
Main Street, U.S.A.
Uptown Jewelers had two Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion collections on display — the wallpaper collection and the 50th-anniversary collection.
Uptown Jewelers also had a promotion available! For a limited time, guests can get a Haunted Mansion fanny pack for $25 with any merchandise purchase.
In Mickey’s Star Traders, we found a Rainbow Unicorn ID holder and lanyard ($16.99)! We spotted a few others in Epcot recently, but this was our first time seeing this one in Disney World.
We love how colorful it is!
