The future is closer than you think!
We are SO excited and eagerly awaiting Epcot’s brand new restaurant Space 220.
With an anticipated opening sometime this winter, this Patina Group restaurant will take diners
aboard an elevator that will simulate real-time rocketing into orbit as they travel to a space station hovering above the Earth. Diners will see daytime and nighttime views of Earth as they’re surrounded by a full panoramic view of space!
We recently shared the news that the upcoming restaurant had lost its executive chef. Fear not space cadets, we have EXCITING news to share with you today. The Patina Restaurant Group is actively hiring a TON of positions for the space-themed culinary destination. A job posting on the Patina Restaurant Group site shows that they are hiring a Front of House member, Restaurant Manager, and several other positions.
Could this mean our journey into the final frontier is closer than we think? We sure hope so! Until then, we’ll keep you posted as we hear any news on Epcot’s most anticipated new restaurant.

Sara says
Hoping they don’t miss the perfect 2/20/20 date for the opening!
Lee says
So no actual new updates as mentioned in the title of the post, just clickbait. You guys used to no stoop this low to get page views. And you don’t need to now.
MJ says
Agree with Lee. This isn’t news; those job postings have been circulating publicly on Disney fan sites for weeks now.
On top of that – the postings don’t actually provide any new information/update.
What exactly IS your update?
Disney Food Blog has become one of my preferred sites for Disney news because other sites are typically so heavy on clickbait, which I find intolerable. If that’s the route you’re going down, I’ll go elsewhere to find my news – thanks!
DFB Sarah says
Sara, that would be epic.
Sam says
So is this restaurant open yet?? I want to see the finished product.
DFB Sarah says
Sam, no opening date yet!
