The Guylian seashell truffles are new at the booth this year, and I love the addition. I’ve been a huge fan of these truffles since I was at University in the UK (way back in the 90’s ;-D), when I would save my pence to buy a little box of these yummy seashell-shaped, hazelnut-chocolate flavored treats for myself whenever I could. Guest Review: Walt’s, An American Restaurant, at Disneyland Paris

Outside Walt's Disneyland Paris

Before we left for France, I had one dream in my head for our visit to Disneyland Paris — to eat at Walt’s on Main Street and enjoy a glass of French wine!

I was worried that this wouldn’t work out because I had a really hard time figuring out the Disneyland Paris dining reservation system (it seemed to be it was only available to onsite guests), but apparently someone sent a little pixie dust my way and we were lucky enough to score a late lunch walk up seating!


Walt’s is located right on Main Street USA, halfway between the park entrance and the castle. The entryway to the restaurant is located right off Main Street USA and is themed in the classic Victorian Main Street USA style, with references to Walt’s life.

There is an old fashioned piano, a fancy elevator, and and entrance to a shop called Lillian’s in honor of Walt’s wife.

As you head to the dining room on the second floor, you go up a staircase that documents historic moments in Walt’s life and in the building of the Walt Disney Company and Disneyland. I really enjoyed stopping to look at each of these pictures showing how the company was created.

Dining in Disneyland: Snacks and More in Disneyland Paris

Heather Sievers, our Dining in Disneyland columnist, shares her recent adventure to Disneyland Paris with a whole slew-o-pics of food in the park!

This summer has been absolutely amazing. I’ve been on the go for 3 weeks all over Europe, which included an 11-day Disney Mediterranean Cruise followed by 3 days in London and 3 days in Paris. I begged and pleaded for a trip to Disneyland Paris and guess what? I got my way!

My cruise dining photos are amazing, over 1,000 of them if you can believe it, but I just couldn’t wait to share some super fun pics of the snacks and special treats that we found in Disneyland Paris.

Only there for one short day, we really made the most of it. We spent half of the day at Walt Disney Studios and the latter half at Disneyland. Both parks were beautiful as well as FULL of amazingly yummy snacks. Unfortunately, while I did not try most of them, I did drool over the sights and smells. Enjoy!

Yep, we’re finishing up the final edits on our brand new Mini-Guide e-Book!

As you know, our DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining e-Book covers a wealth of information about Disney World food. But after hitting 250 pages, we reserved some of the more detailed info for our upcoming series of Mini-Guides.

The first in the series will be the Disney Food Blog Mini-Guide to Magic Kingdom Snacks, and it will be debuting very soon.

Detailed reviews, photos, prices, and snack-credit-worthiness of over 70 snacks in the Magic Kingdom are packed into this Mini-Guide, but, as always, we’ve included a few extras and bonus items as well!

Disneyland Paris: Stromboli’s Snack Cart and Sequoia Lodge’s Free Breakfast

Welcome Marc and Amy Stumbo (this is one of my favorite pics of Amy, FYI) as they take us to Disneyland Paris! Their first review includes a yummy snack as well as the daily continental breakfast offered complimentary to guests of the Sequoia Lodge. Bonjour, Marc and Amy!


Amy and I both grew up with annual passes to Walt Disney World. Having grown up in the shadow of the mouse, we had many dates in the parks and we even got engaged after an amazing dinner at the California Grill (perhaps an article at a later date… very romantic if I say so myself).

Well, let it suffice to say that after we determined Paris to be the site of our honeymoon it didn’t take long for us to make reservations at nearby Disneyland Paris. Finally, as an avid Disney Food Blog reader, it only seemed fair that we use this vacation opportunity to share our dining experiences with the readers.
