Sooo… official news announcing the new Skipper Canteen Jungle Cruise restaurant coming to Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland wasn’t enough for ya?

Star Wars Lands — PLUS CANTINAS! — Coming to Disney World and Disneyland!

Well, then, let’s see if THIS does the trick… A REAL, TRUE STAR WARS CANTINA will be coming to both Disney World AND Disneyland as part of the Star Wars-themed Lands announced for BOTH coasts at the D23 Expo! We’ve been dreaming about this for years!

Disneyland and Hollywood Studios will be the homes for each 14-acre expansion “where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.” According to Bob Iger, “We are creating a jaw-dropping new world that represents our largest single themed land expansion ever. Dining in Disneyland: Diamond Celebration Chocolate Cake from Plaza Inn

The Disneyland Resort has gone all out for Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration.  Special decor, special merchandise, and most importantly, special food!

On a recent visit to Plaza Inn, I noticed an intriguing dessert that I had to try, Diamond Celebration Chocolate Cake.  Honestly, I bought this out of curiosity because it sounded like a bizarre mix of flavors to me.

The description alone seemed crazy: Chocolate Cake layered with Passion Fruit, Mango & Banana Mousse, Apricot Compote and smothered with a Milk Chocolate Caramel Ganache and Crunchy Chocolate Pearls. In the midst of the big Disneyland 60th Celebration, we keep getting surprised with so many fun treats!  On July 1st, the Disneyland Resort introduced a line of S’mores treats that are not to be missed.  There are 4 fantastic new items that include a S’mores Marshmallow Wand, a S’mores Gourmet Caramel Apple, S’mores Bark, & a S’mores Rice Krispy Treat.
