Disney Recipe: Colcannon Soup from Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

It’s c-c-cold out there, and wouldn’t some buttery, creamy soup hit the spot? Here’s a great option from Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant.

From their creamy Wild Forest Mushroom Chowder to their Potato Soup, every single soup I’ve tried at the Disney Springs hotspot has been incredible (mostly due to the copious amounts of butter and cream involved). And today, we’re sharing with you another must-have recipe.

Colcannon Potatoes — a traditional mixture of silky mashed potatoes and cabbage — are one of the classic Irish sides that you can enjoy at the Pub. But they also serve as inspiration for this warming Colcannon Soup.

Winter is with us for a few more months, so take the opportunity to whip up a batch of this indulgent soup for your next evening in. [Read more…]

Disney Recipe: Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake from Epcot’s Garden Grill

Cinnamon rolls are the undisputed Breakfast of Champions. There’s nothing better than a hot cinnamon-y pastry topped with ooey-gooey icing.

The best of the best used to be available at the Main Street Bakery. And while we still mourn the loss of the best cinnamon roll ever (it’s replacement is being served at Gaston’s Tavern), we are moving forward and finding new cinnamon rolls to love.

And right now we’re loving Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake served at Chip N’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at Epcot’s Garden Grill!

Disney Holiday Recipe: Gingerbread Beignets

One of our favorite holiday flavors has to be gingerbread! Whether it’s in cookie form, or cake, or gelato, or even a life-size gingerbread display, it’s an obvious and beloved flavor of the season.

And as much as we love making cute little gingerbread people-shaped cookies, it’s always fun to try something new during your holiday baking session. So this year we’re going to make these Gingerbread Beignets.

The beignets are dusted with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar, but the Eggnog Crème Anglaise is a must as a dipping sauce!

This recipe hails from Cafe Orleans at Disneyland, where Gingerbread Beignets were available during the 2014 holiday season.

The recipe calls for chilling the dough at least 4 hours or overnight, so plan your baking day accordingly!

For Orange Sauce:

Combine apricot jam and orange juice in a medium bowl. Whisk together until smooth.

For Pumpkin Mousse:
