Disney World’s Poutine Obsession: 15 Ways To Get Your French Fry Fix

So…a poutine cloud apparently burst over Orlando and now you can get varieties of this relatively obscure French Canadian pub grub delicacy pretty much everywhere in Disney World. There’s even a dining spot completely dedicated to poutine.

The dish traditionally consists of French fries covered in cheese curds and brown gravy, and Canadians will cheerfully tell you that NONE of the dishes below qualify. Yet they’re called Poutine on the menu, and since we love french fries with stuff piled on top of them, we’re happy to tally them up for you!

Oh, and here’s some real Canadian poutine for reference.

Does Disney World’s Sanaa Restaurant Still Got IT?

Animal Kingdom Lodge is a mecca for unique dining at Walt Disney World.

Whether you’re sampling the buffet at Boma, selecting stellar wines at Jiko, or digging into soulful food at Sanaa, Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Jambo House and Kidani Village have always been destination eating.

And it’s clear to see why. From the moment that you set foot into one of these restaurants, you are embraced by the warm atmosphere and intrigued by the art of Africa all around you. And then there’s the aroma, which you know means amazing eats await.

Sanaa is the newest of the three Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurants, and it’s made its mark on guests since day one. We’ve loved the Indian-Style Bread Service every time we’ve tried it, and the Butter Chicken has stood the test of time.

But I’d been hearing from some of our readers and followers that Sanaa’s time was up. That the experience there wasn’t living up to the hype and the food just wasn’t what it used to be. So I made a reservation and headed over ASAP to experience it again for myself.

Sanaa is themed and highly visual, with artwork greeting guests from the moment they arrive. The sign outside the restaurant is surrounded by woven baskets of various designs. And while they are stationary, something about their arrangement is still energetic.

Hollywood Studios Club 33 Location at Disney World Confirmed

Recently, a not-so-mysterious doorbell made an appearance in the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot. And now? A similar — yet different — doorbell has been spotted behind The Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This one is at the elevator that likely leads up to the old Catwalk Bar above Brown Derby!

Why do I say “not-so-mysterious”? Because in 2017 Disney confirmed that four Club 33 lounges would be opening in Disney World. Club 33 is known — and even legendary — for being an exclusive, members-only club with its first, and most iconic, location in Disneyland. Designed by none other than Walt Disney himself, the restaurant was made to entertain friends and VIPs. These days, entrance is gained by a hefty initial membership fee in addition to annual dues.

Whether you’ve been able to pass through the Club 33 doors in Disneyland or not, you may have noticed its famous doorbell by which members announce their arrival to Club 33.

And it appears that each location in Disney World will receive similar doorbell treatment… though with an added feature.
