We’re used to seeing our favorite Disney characters in parades, at meet-and-greets, and at Character Meals.
But seeing them ON OUR DRINKS is something new!
GOOD MORNING from Magic Kingdom!
Of course, it’s pretty much always a good morning when you’re in Disney World. But if you’re in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, the mornings are even brighter thanks to the arrival of the brand new Joffrey’s Revive Coffee Kiosk!
Tucked next to the Tomorrowland Stage where you can sometimes find the Mr. and Mrs. busting a move at the #INCREDIBLESSuperDanceParty, the newest Joffrey’s Kiosk is the first in the Magic Kingdom. (Until now, the closest kiosks to Magic Kingdom have been at the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Contemporary Resort.)
There are two things you can count on with a visit to a Joffrey’s kiosk in Disney World: one, fun theming to perfectly match its surroundings. And two: a good cup of coffee (or tea, if you prefer).
We’re here to check out both. So, Blast Off with us to Tomorrowland to hang out and caffeine up at the new Joffrey’s Revive! [Read more…]
You can spot a Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk just about anywhere in Disney World these days… which is VERY good news for coffee and tea lovers!
From Animal Kingdom’s Royal Anandapur Tea Company to spots at Epcot featuring Specialty Beverages for the park’s many and varying Festivals and beyond, it seems you’re never too far from a cup of Joffrey’s coffee, tea, or Seasonal Espresso Drink.
In fact, just about the only place without a Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk is Magic Kingdom. Sure, you can find kiosks nearby at both the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Contemporary Resort, but not at Disney World’s original park. [Read more…]

Once again, Joffrey’s Espresso Coffee & Pastries kiosks all over Disney World are serving up some specialty items to get us in the festive spirit. We checked out the Winter Specialty menu on our last visit, and now they’re helping us get ready for a caffeinated Valentine’s Day!
Espresso drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas make up the menu along with tea and hot chocolate. Select Joffrey’s locations such as the one just outside of the American Adventure Pavilion at Epcot also offer opportunities to “spike” your coffee with your choice of Bailey’s, Kahlua, or Jameson. We did it! We made it through the first week of 2016! It’s always a rough transition back into the post-holiday routine but so far this year is looking fantastic! We’ve been live streaming a TON in the parks through our @DisneyFoodBlog Periscope account, so come on over and join us!
If you were running in any of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend events this weekend, we salute you!
And not that we’re counting down or anything but there are about 53 days until the 2016 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. The fun starts March 2 and we can’t wait to visit the Outdoor Kitchens to check out the springtime eats this year!
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
Remember the old days when getting a decent cup of coffee at Walt Disney World was practically impossible?
Unless you enjoyed kicking off your day with a cup of Nescafe, you were just out of luck back then. Stories of Disney fans bringing provisions from home weren’t out of the ordinary.
But as the world has slowly awakened to better coffee, Disney has jumped on the bandwagon. In the last few years especially, better coffee options at Disney World have grown by leaps and bounds.
One of the best ways to enjoy a good cup is via Press Pots, which are offered at many table service restaurants throughout the resort. You’ll find specific varieties, roasts, and blends by Joffrey’s Coffee, tailored to the tastes and theme of each resort.
Let’s look at a couple of our favorites! [Read more…]
Just a couple of years back, if you wanted to get a decent cup of coffee or tea somewhere inside the Big Purple Gates, you were out of luck.
With Nescafe on standby in most spots, the coffee outlook was dismal. And while Twinings teabags are available all over the place, there still wasn’t anything special about them.
But in the last few years, Disney has really stepped up their game in both the java and cuppa departments!
Today, we’re sharing one of our favorite tips from the DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining — Where to Find Good Coffee and Tea in Walt Disney World.
By far, the biggest beverage news to hit Disney in the last few years has been its partnership with coffee giant Starbucks. Love them or hate them, you can’t dispute — they’re super popular.
Seriously…there’s a reason for the queue ropes inside! Have you seen a Disney Starbucks on a busy morning? Madness!
The first two Starbucks to open in Walt Disney World replaced established eateries — Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom and Fountain View in Epcot. Now you can stroll right up to Cinderella Castle with your Vanilla Latte in hand, or enjoy your Frappuccino in the shade of Spaceship Earth.
Trolley Car Cafe, the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Starbucks outlet, opened a couple of years ago, bringing the famous mermaid to Hollywood Boulevard.
Aren’t a fan of Starbucks? Joffrey’s is considered the “official” coffee of Disney World and still operates a number of kiosks throughout the Parks, where you can grab a cup of coffee or a selection of espresso drinks.
If you prefer tea to coffee, there are also some great spots for you to enjoy a cup. And we aren’t just talking about your grandmother’s cup of tea.
One of my favorite spots for tea is the [Read more…]
Hey all! Yet another Starbucks has joined the ranks of Disney locations in Walt Disney World…and it’s now open for business!
This time, you’ll find a HUGE one at Downtown Disney’s west Side — with a great view of the Characters in Flight Balloon!
Wendy will be putting together a full review for us of this location, but I just wanted to give you a quick sneak peek to whet your appetite! There are so many cool components to this spot — including an interactive chalk board that’s hooked up with a sister Starbucks location in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District! Let’s take a look!
While the Marketplace Starbucks is primarily a grab and go location, this spot is [Read more…]
Aaaaaahhhh…Coffee. Some of us simply can’t get the old motor cranking in the morning without it! And there have been some changes to the coffee world in Disney parks these days!
We thought it would be fun to show off some of the pictures that YOU have captured of java in our regular feature, Disney Food Pics of the Week. Thanks to those readers who shared with us a little of their Disney trip by posting on Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza, our Flickr group!
If you’d like to get in on the fun, head over to Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza on Flickr and join the group. We’d love to see even more of your great food shots! Let’s see what you’ve found!
The real victory for many coffee lovers at Disney parks has been the opening of Starbucks in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The first location opened at Walt Disney World transformed fan favorite Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom to a mix of part bakery, part retro coffee shop.
While reviews have been a somewhat mixed, many guests are super happy to stroll down Main Street USA with their favorite Seasonal Iced Latte in hand!
But then, if you are looking for the most prestigious pot of coffee anywhere in all of Walt Disney World…well, you just knew it would be Victoria & Albert’s that delivered, right?
This is coffee as theater, my friends, and it’s just as dramatic and delicious as it looks.
