Hey Guys! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re getting down to the serious business of ranking our 10 favorite Disney snacks!
We’ve gathered 10 iconic Disney snacks that you can find all over the parks and resorts and…ranked them!
Have a hankerin’ for a Jumbo Turkey Leg while you’re at Pixar Pier? Then just look for this GIANT FUN MEAL…
… by the name of Poultry Palace!
We’re continuing our reviews of each new food kiosk on the brand new Pixar Pier. (You can see every single stop along Disney California Adventure’s newest Land here.) You’ll find Poultry Palace on Toy Story Boardwalk — one of the land’s four neighborhoods inspired by the films and characters of Pixar. In the case of Poultry Palace, inspiration comes from the Pixar short “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry.” And this kiosk also happens to be a terrific photo op… (FYI, fun size Zurg is supposed to be the “toy” in the fun meal, but it seems he hasn’t arrived, yet.) Oh. My. Goodness! I have something that I have been absolutely ITCHING to share! And it’s something YOU can totally enjoy whether or not you are in Disneyland or Disney World. Because this amazing artwork by Donna Yan will help you celebrate many of YOUR favorite iconic Disney foods from your own home!
Donna Yan’s prints are, in her words, “Cute Food Art Inspired by My Travels.” And while those travels primarily take her to Disneyland, Hawaii, and Japan, Disney World frequenters will find plenty to adore here, too.
For instance, these too-cute-for-words Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars can be appreciated on both coasts!
Same with the Dole Whip print 🙂 .
We’ve been spotting some pretty terrific food-themed T-shirts around Disney World and Disneyland merchandise locations lately, and I couldn’t resist sharing some of these fun finds with you today. Because YOUR favorite iconic Disney snack may be represented on some of this garb, and I’d hate for you to miss a chance to pick one up on your next Disney World trip!
Now, the Turkey Leg shirt has been around for a while now…
Helloooooo from Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World! We’re paying a visit to a few Counter Service locations to check out some recent developments, starting with a couple of restaurants that call Sunset Boulevard home.
Sunshine Day Cafe has taken over the location that was previously known as Toluca Legs Turkey Co. And along with the new name comes a new menu… eventually, that is, as it hasn’t been posted yet. 😉 [Read more…]
So, you’ve likely heard the news that the official debut for the Rivers of Light Evening Spectacular coming to Animal Kingdom is set for April 22, 2016! Yay!!
The Harambe Wildlife Parti and Discovery Island Carnivale street parties are also in the works, as well as a chance to see the Tree of Life “awaken” in the evenings. And of course, we can’t wait for the arrival of Signature Dining at Animal Kingdom with Tiffins, and the accompanying Nomad Lounge.
So, yeah. LOTS of good and exciting stuff on the way to Animal Kingdom! But have you heard what’s GONE from this transforming park? [Read more…]
There are so many unique eats at the Tokyo Disney Resort. In this post, I’ve complied most of the items my family tried on our recent trip. Rather than do individual posts on each thing, here’s a mega post featuring them all! Ready, let’s go to Tokyo!
I’m going to start with my very first snack stop at Tokyo Disney Sea. We stopped at Refrescos’ in the Mediterranean Harbor area for a little bit of everything: A Gyoza Sausage Bun, a Maple Mickey Churro, and Cream of Corn Soup. Basically one of every thing on the menu. We were really excited because there was absolutely zero line. I’m told that the Gyoza Sausage Bun is one of the most popular items at Disney Sea and sometimes people wait over an hour for one. We lucked out because apparently this was an area that just recently started selling them. Normally they are only at the stand in Mysterious Island.
I was most excited about the Maple Mickey Churro, but unfortunately, it fell way short of the churros we have at the Disneyland Resort. Although it scored major points for being Mickey shaped, the churro itself was hard, dry and had very little flavor. Really cute, but not at all worth it.
The Corn Soup was fabulous. It’s not creamy like a chowder you’d find in the states, but it is still flavorful and hits the spot on a chilly day. I love that it’s served in [Read more…]
Is there someone on your holiday gift list who loves Dole Whip more than life? (Wait… is there anyone on your list who doesn’t?). Well, what could be better than giving them a way to enjoy their favorite Disney snack all year long? It may not be exactly the same as a personal delivery of the real deal, but these t-shirts, mugs, totes, and phone cases might just be be the next best thing!
This Peace, Love, and Dole Whip t-shirt pretty much sums up all the best things in life, doesn’t it?
Those who don this Please Stand Clear of My Dole Whip Tee can pay homage to the monorail and their beloved Dole Whip at the same time.
Simple and classic, here’s a Dole Whip Mug.
In a post entitled “Turkey Legs Conquer Land of Mouse Ears” the Times reveals just how huge the popularity of these mammoth drumstick snacks have become. But not everyone is thrilled about their iconic status. More on that later… .
Many guests feel it’s a rite of passage to stroll through the park of their choice, gnawing on the meaty treats. They’re a great option to share! In fact, they’ve gathered a cult following of sorts, similar to many of Disney’s iconic snacks.
