Travelling with a food allergy or sensitivity can be difficult. Disney has worked to reduce the stress by making chefs visits to your table easier as well as incorporating allergy and sensitivity requests in the Advance Dining Reservation system and providing allergen information on menus at many Disney restaurants.
And for a while now, Disney has been moving toward incorporating food allergy and sensitivity orders into the Mobile Order System in the My Disney Experience App.
After you scroll down past the standard menu, the allergy and sensitivity options appear.
That said, it’s the stop for a LOT of people, because our Polite friend is one popular Pig! So, if you’re looking to bypass the lines, you can now place your order online! Take note, though…
Editor’s Note: Contempo Cafe has been removed from Disney’s system as a mobile order option. That said, since they went to the trouble to load all of the code into their system, we’re guessing it will be an option soon. Stay tuned.
Mobile Order — a process available via the My Disney Experience app, which gives guests the chance to bypass the register lines in participating restaurants by ordering and paying for their food in advance, has been available in select Counter Service spots since May 2017. The service has been limited, however, to locations in all four parks and Disney Springs.
But this weekend, the service made its debut in a Disney World Resort: The Contemporary Resort’s Contempo Cafe!
