Snack Series: Disney World’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Cones

We’ve talked about ice cream sundaes and we’ve talked about milkshakes, but now it’s time to devote the day to ice cream cones! Honestly, there’s nothing like that first taste of a true, hand-scooped ice cream cone in a favorite theme park, and here are my four favorite places to get one:

Epcot’s Fountain View Ice Cream

Editor’s Note: This location no longer serves ice cream. As of September 4, 2013, Fountain View is now a Starbucks location.

Here’s a food tip: every single Disney park has at least one placed where you can get real, hand-dipped ice cream cones! And if Mickey bars and ice pops aren’t cutting it for you while you’re in Epcot, you can head right over to Fountain View Ice Cream.

This place has had a number of names and services over the years. For quite a while, it was a bakery serving delectable baked goods and treats. It’s still serving delicious treats, but they’re a bit colder than before!
