On May 27, 2018, Pandora — the World of AVATAR celebrated its first birthday! And while the Animal Kingdom’s newest land didn’t have a Pandoran smash cake, we did stop in to retry some of the eats that’ve fueled many a journey down the Na’vi River and on the back of a banshee for Flight of Passage!
Today, we’re heading into Disney’s Animal Kingdom to do what we always do…
A little exploring, accompanied by a little snacking!
And once again, we’re going vegetarian, because that’s a particularly easy thing to do when it comes to snacking at Animal Kingdom. We’ve already learned, in fact , that the focus on providing above par vegetarian options will continue in Animal Kingdom’s upcoming land, Pandora — The World of AVATAR, thanks to a look at the full menu for Satu’li Canteen (the land’s primary dining establishment).

The menu is definitely “basket” and “fried” driven, so while it’s easy to grab-and-go, it’s probably not an everyday choice if you want to maintain the energy you’ll need to run around the parks!
Basically, the process is as such: pick out what you want, order, wait a few minutes while they fry it, eat. You’ll find nearby seating at table and chair groupings, as well as nearby benches; but there’s no completely sheltered or indoor seating available at To Go. PLUS, the ducks are serious about stalking you, so [Read more…]
