Dining in Disneyland: Fun Halloween Time Candy Bags!

Halloween time is HERE! Themed treats and merchandise have already started to appear at the Disneyland Resort.  On a recent visit I spotted these perfectly packaged Seasonal Candy Bags at Disney California Adventure.

The artwork & packaging on these really caught my eye!  There are four different bag designs, each one containing a different type of candy.  The candies themselves are not new, but the packaging “make over” from previous years is going to have them flying off the shelves.  It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like Donald’s “Terror in Tomorrowland” artwork best. Dining in Disneyland: Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Attention pumpkin fans!!! I’ve got something you might want to see… I give you Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Covered Pretzels!

This is the first time that I’ve seen these during Halloween Time, but I usually don’t pay too much attention to the prepackaged treats.  I’m more of a grab something from the bakery case kinda gal!

Dining in Disneyland: Dia de los Muertos Treats

New to the Disneyland Resort this season are an adorably festive line of Dia de los Muertos Treats.

For the past few years, Zocalo Park in Frontierland has had a gorgeous display where you can participate in some fun activities and learn about the traditions of Dia de los Muertos.

Dining in Disneyland: Halloween Time Poison Apple Mugs and Poison Apple Glow Cubes

Halloween Time has arrived at the Disneyland Resort and I’m pretty sure I’ve found my favorite new item of the season! The Poison Apple Mug. Everything about it is awesome.

The mug is a stein type of style.  The little button on the handle flips up the lid. Although the stem looks like it would be a straw, it is not.  It’s just part of the decor. [Read more…]

Dining in Disneyland: Caramel Apple Smoothie & Pumpkin Muffin from Schmoozies

Halloween Time at Disney California Adventure is much more “quiet” than it is over at Disneyland.  There are, however, a handful of special menu items that are available through October 31st.  On a recent visit I discovered a fun combo at Schmoozies in Hollywood Land.

The Caramel Apple Smoothie and Pumpkin Muffin are currently being featured as Holiday Specials.

Of course I had to check both of these items out.  The Caramel Apple Smoothie is made from fresh Granny Smith Apples, Caramel & Ice Cream.  I think it can be called a smoothie because it has real fruit in it, but don’t get me wrong, it’s NOT a healthy item. It’s really more like a shake.  Totally delicious, but not something you’d get from a juice bar!

Already a great little stop for a snack and a drink, Maurice’s Treats at the Fantasy Faire has added a new reason to go and get a “Twist.”

Dining in Disneyland: More Halloween Treats at the Disneyland Resort

It’s been so much fun hunting down all of  the Halloween Treats  at the Disneyland Resort this year.

Halloween is by far my very favorite time of the year.  I have so many photos of spooky delights and although I’d like to try every single item, I’d also like to fit into my Halloween costume in a few weeks. So, instead of a full review on each of these Halloween Time treats, let’s just look at some calorie free photos!  Most of the items I’m featuring in this post can be found in Candy Palace at Disneyland, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, and Marceline’s in Downtown Disney.  If an item is specific to a certain spot, I’ll let ya know!

Let’s start with these adorable Mickey o’ Lantern Cookies!

Followed by some Mickey Bat Cookies!  I love the tiny orange fangs!

New for 2014 are the Haunted Mansion Clock Crispy Clock & Mickey Mummy Crispy Treats. How cute are the little M&M eyes peeking out from behind the mummy’s “bandages?”

There’s also a new Jack o’ Lantern Marshmallow Wand.  This one I might have to get my hands on.  Four fluffy marshmallows are dipped in caramel, then coated with white chocolate and covered in orange sanding sugar.  I love that each pumpkin has a [Read more…]

Dining in Disneyland: Pumpkin Beignets & Maleficent Sipper from the Mint Julep Bar

Mickey Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square are always a special treat! That messy bag of powdered sugar Mickey shaped goodness is one of my favorite snacks to enjoy while visiting Disneyland.

And for Halloween Time, The Mint Julep Bar has welcomed back Pumpkin Beignets!  The beignets are sold in 3 or 6 piece bags and can be washed down with a Pumpkin Spice Latte.  A perfect Fall treat!

I don’t know if the recipe has changed, but I feel like over the past few years, the beignets were not so pumpkin-y tasting.  This year though, the pumpkin flavor was much more prevalent.  I ordered a bag of 3 to share with a friend.

Dining in Disneyland: Monster U “Style” Burger at Tomorrowland Terrace

Halloween Time at Disneyland is most certainly my favorite time of the year.  The decor, the ride overlays, the merchandise, and the FOOD!

Big Mickey Pumpkin

I always look forward to trying out new holiday offerings, but this one I was a little nervous about because I don’t really have fond memories of eating at Tomorrowland Terrace.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve eaten here and I’m happy to report that I did have a pleasant experience.  In fact, in the near future, we should probably feature a full review of this counter service eatery here on the blog.  I’ll put it on my “to do” list.

For now though, let’s take a look at the Monster U “Style” Burger and Fries meal that they’re featuring through October 31st.
