Are you attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year?
If so, it’s time to get ready for SNOW on Main Street, U.S.A…
Season’s Greetings and Merry Christmas! We hope that the season is treating you well, and that you’re taking time out to enjoy all of the little blessings it holds.
And speaking of treating…why don’t we chat about some Disney treats! See? I can bring anything right back to the Disney and the eating.
Today, we’re sharing another fun installment in our Disney Food Pics of the Week Series, which features you, our wonderful readers, and all of the great images you capture and share with us!

Since we’re enjoying the holidays at present, I wanted to share a few more shots that you’ve captured from the season of Merry and Bright. Let’s take a look!
Isn’t it awesome when we get to enjoy our holiday favorites? In some parts of the country, tamales are a beloved holiday food, and I love that Rancho del Zocalo in Disneyland honors that. Now I know what I’d like to have for dinner…

These Snowman Marshmallow Pops, which were spotted at Marceline’s, are crazy cute! If the little scarves around their neck don’t charm you, I know their Mickey Ear Hats will!

I had so much fun during my recent visit to Walt Disney World.
What’s not to love about Disney at the Holidays? It was such a gorgeous — and delicious! — trip.
Let’s take a look and then I want to hear what you think!
See, the “seasonal cupcake” at the beginning of my visit was a pumpkin spice version, and I just KNEW it would switch over to a holiday option during my trip. Sure enough, about two days before I left property this lovely treat showed up.
Upon chatting up one of the awesome Cast Members, I learned that the cupcake was Dark Chocolate Cake with a Strawberry Cheesecake Filling.
For some reason I was super impressed by the crunchy chocolate toppers that were all glittery. Why? Who can say? I just thought they were cool. And that adorable white chocolate star was perfect on top.
But enough about Chocolate Pearls that double as ornaments and White Chocolate Gold Stars. At the end of the day, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. (See? That works for people and cupcakes.)
Under a crown of super light and fluffy Whipped Cream (belch, blech, blech), you’ll find Super Dark Chocolate Cake.
And hidden inside — yep, there it is — a thick Strawberry Cheesecake Filling.
The filling itself was only slightly less dense than actual cheesecake. I was really impressed with its consistency.
And the flavor? Well, non-traditional holiday-ness aside — it was good! I’m a big fan of fruit and chocolate combos, and a filling inside a cupcake is always a welcome addition.
Besides, have I mentioned how utterly adorable it is? Really, you can’t not.
What do you think of the Strawberry Cheesecake Holiday Cupcake? Leave a comment and tell us if it makes your “must have” list!
I can say this much about our pal, Mickey Mouse…

It’s hard to say which was more intriguing at first glance… the crème de menthe candy pieces popping out from the top, or the fact that this cupcake totally sparkles!
Let’s take a closer look! [Read more…]

Let’s begin in Epcot, where I’m so excited to share with you a really super fun find from Epcot’s America Pavilion.

Within Liberty Inn, you’ll find another life-size gingerbread house, similar in scope to the Grand Floridian’s display. And much like that house, you can purchase goodies here as well!
