Kona Cafe, located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, recently changed its menu, and now there’s a lunch and dinner item that makes this table service spot the biggest bang for your DDP buck! So if you’re a fan of a 20-oz. Bone-In Black Angus Rib-Eye, prepare to be the master of the DDP! On top of the $55 steak, add a $14 Lapu-Lapu and a dessert selection (up to $9), and you’ve got a $78 value for your table service credit!
What do you picture when you hear the word “brunch“? Perfectly runny eggs, crisp-yet-juicy fried chicken, bacon-covered donuts, and creamy grits topped with blistered cheese?
If any of that sounds irresistible, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine Bar at Disney Springs might just be the perfect brunch spot for you. DFB recently paid Homecomin’ a visit to experience the Rise and Shine Brunch, and we have lots of great info to share with you!

We love this place, where comfort food and tasty drinks are always at the ready! So when the table service spot announced a new menu back in early-December I had to get in there to try it!
Before I get into the eats, let’s just mull over this Whiskey Menu (and the delightful fact that Homecomin’ has a menu just. for. whiskey).

Walt Disney World seriously rocks when it comes to offering a wide variety of dining options, and while we often find ourselves gravitating toward fried delights like classic Chicken Nuggets and carbolicious eats like Sanaa’s Bread Service, we still like to get our veggies in. Occasionally. Okay, really only to justify eating more cupcakes, but I digress.
Still, salads have their place, and we know that a lot of our readers enjoy the freshness and healthfulness of a plate of vegetables even when in a World full indulgent options. So we’ve culled our experience and that of our instagram readers for some great table service and counter service salad options that are satisfying and delicious. Thanks to our readers and followers for sharing their favorites!
