Epcot Food and Wine Festival Recipe: Clam Chowder from the Hops & Barley Marketplace Booth

We have another delicious dish for you today from the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival! It’s time for some CHOWDAH!!!

One of our favorite creamy soups is featured at the Hops & Barley Marketplace Booth in Epcot’s America Pavilion. Traditional New England Clam Chowder, with its creamy, potato-based goodness, is the perfect meal for sweater weather.

Puerto Rico
I’m pretty sure Puerto Rico was my husband’s favorite booth, and in spite of the slight cilantro taste to the soup, it was one of my favorites as well! The incredible medianoche sandwich was a surprising winner — savory, warm, and just perfect for a midnight kitchen raid! ;-) And the asopao de pollo had some serious flavor going on! It was a huge portion, and delicious.

The Bacardi Torched Frozen Cherry Colada was incredible. Creamy, cool, sweet, and just enough tang to keep you interested. It is one of my favorite items in the festival! You can see more pictures, the full menu, and prices on our Puerto Rico Booth Page!

Then it’s off to the Munich Marketplace for some Spaetzle Gratin with Ham and Cheese and a Nuernberger Sausage on a Pretzel Roll. High marks for both dishes!

Now, we’re on our way back to the good old U.S.A. for some Spicy Cajun Crawfish and Vegetable Stew!
