Attention, people! There’s an entirely NEW menu at Lucky Fortune Cookery!
According to Disneyland, the menu that was replaced had been around about ten years. So, we’re really excited to share all of the new food items and ingredients with you.
Starting last week, Disneyland Annual Passholders were able to access Mobile Order at Counter Service locations all over Disneyland Resort. But now, all guests visiting Disneyland are able to utilize the service!
As a refresher, Mobile Order is a process available via the Disneyland app which allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service restaurants, thereby avoiding time spent in line! (Here’s a tip: if you aren’t seeing the icon allowing you to “Order Food” in your Disneyland app, be sure to install the latest update. )
Ordering and picking up your food at a Counter Service restaurant in Disney World has never been easier thanks to the introduction of Mobile Order: a process that allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service restaurants, thereby avoiding time spent in line. So it was great news when it was revealed that Mobile Order will be coming to Disneyland, too, via the Disneyland app!
And now, Mobile Order is up and running for Disneyland… almost! Currently, Disneyland Annual Passholders are able to utilize the feature at several locations, and soon all Disneyland guests will be able to access it. [Read more…]

Unique to the 24-hour event are 2-course, prix fixe breakfast packages available from midnight to 1:45 am on May 23rd at Ariel’s Grotto (as a non-character meal) and Wine Country Trattoria, offering reserved viewing for a special 3 am World of Color show.
Though online it appears as though Dining Reservations are currently full, you never know when you might happen upon a cancellation.
There is a LOT of ground to cover for the all-around-the-park eats, so let’s start in Disneyland! The signature Disneyland Diamond Celebration Cupcake will be featured at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe.
The Diamond Anniversary Ice Cream Sandwich offers a cool twist on the celebratory treats with your choice of ice cream between two sugar cookies. Find it at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, alongside an Ice Cream Sundae served in a souvenir kitchen sink!

Did someone say cupcakes?!?!
As I’m sure you know, Disneyland has a rather big birthday coming up. The resort will celebrate its 60th Anniversary in July. But you don’t have to wait until the middle of Summer to have your cake and eat it too!
On May 22, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will debut some fun (and delish) treats to mark Disneyland’s Diamond Anniversary Celebration.
While cupcakes are usually more of an East Coast Disney thing than a West Coast one, when Disneyland does ’em, they’re incredible. Beginning May 22, find a Lemon-flavorored Cupcake at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. Why lemon? It’s the perfect flavor to celebrate the Victorian theme of Main Street USA.
Similar Cupcakes will be available at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe in Disney California Adventure — but the flavor will be Orange there to represent the 1930s vibe of Buena Vista Street.
In addition to the cupcakes, Disneyland will release lots of new, limited-time beverages. I gotta say — I’m a little perplexed why they’d offer five different drinks that look and sound incredibly similar. 😉
But I’ll reserve judgement until I get to try a few! I think I’m mostly looking forward to the [Read more…]
Kicking off a “Monstrous Summer” at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the creative Disney chefs have designed special eats for the Monstrous Summer all-nighter scheduled for May 24-May 25, 2013!
The event, which takes place at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on the East coast, and Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure on the West coast, will host guests from 6 a.m. on May 24 to 6 a.m. on May 25.
As always, Disney has planned a few special bites for the special event. Here are a few of the noshes planned!
Crazed about Disney cupcakes? The New Fantasyland venue Gaston’s Tavern (Magic Kingdom) will feature a chocolate cupcake topped with “Monsters University” sweets.
Ice cream fans can stop by the Ice Cream Parlor or Plaza Restaurant on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom for an “Eye Scream Sundae” in your choice of mint chocolate chip or strawberry flavors.
Themed drinks, including Randall’s Suds and Mike’s Punch — will be offered at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland.
Keep your eyes open! There are monstrous eats everywhere. Start with [Read more…]
