Dining in Disneyland: More Halloween Treats at the Disneyland Resort

It’s been so much fun hunting down all of  the Halloween Treats  at the Disneyland Resort this year.

Halloween is by far my very favorite time of the year.  I have so many photos of spooky delights and although I’d like to try every single item, I’d also like to fit into my Halloween costume in a few weeks. So, instead of a full review on each of these Halloween Time treats, let’s just look at some calorie free photos!  Most of the items I’m featuring in this post can be found in Candy Palace at Disneyland, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, and Marceline’s in Downtown Disney.  If an item is specific to a certain spot, I’ll let ya know!

Let’s start with these adorable Mickey o’ Lantern Cookies!

Followed by some Mickey Bat Cookies!  I love the tiny orange fangs!

New for 2014 are the Haunted Mansion Clock Crispy Clock & Mickey Mummy Crispy Treats. How cute are the little M&M eyes peeking out from behind the mummy’s “bandages?”

There’s also a new Jack o’ Lantern Marshmallow Wand.  This one I might have to get my hands on.  Four fluffy marshmallows are dipped in caramel, then coated with white chocolate and covered in orange sanding sugar.  I love that each pumpkin has a [Read more…]

Dining in Disneyland: Easter Treats from Marceline’s in Downtown Disney

Marceline’s in Downtown Disney is hopping with Easter treats!

Marceline's Sign

The adorable Easter Bunny Caramel Apples have made a comeback, along with some fun new yummies that include Mickey Easter Egg Cake Pops and Mickey Easter Grass & “Egg” themed treats.

Adorable as can be, these Easter Eggs are as tasty as they are cute.

The moist cake is dipped in white chocolate, then decorated with sanding sugar, and topped with chocolate Mickey ears.  They come in chocolate, vanilla & red velvet.

We went with chocolate, because it was the only flavor they had left in these ones.

Cake Pops have taken the world by storm over the last couple of years, it seems. So, of course, it didn’t take too long for a Disney version to pop up! Ha! Get it? These normally come with marshmallow ears, and the colors are gorg!

Cafe Orleans in Disneyland is one of my favorite stops for a delicious, Cajun-inspired meal. And I always leave room for Mickey Shaped Beignets, which come with amazing Raspberry and Vanilla Dipping Sauces here.

New! Snow White Candy Apple and More Disney Halloween Treats

Boo to You! Halloween time is officially upon us! And during my recent visit to Walt Disney World, I had a blast checking out all of the awesome Halloween-themed treats.

Whether you prefer cute and sweet or spooky and sinister, you’ll find just the right sweet for Trick or Treat!

There’s nothing better than a colossal caramel or candy apple! My favorite, hands down, is this ghoulish Poison Candy Apple, inspired by the film Snow White. It’s fantastic, isn’t it?! As far as I can tell, it’s a standard candied apple covered in green-tinted white chocolate!

Prefer your spooky with a side of caramel? Then this Skull Chocolate Covered Caramel Apple is for you! With both white and milk chocolate, it’s wicked delish!

You don’t have to look far to find apple treats that are inspired by Mickey himself. The Jack-o-Lantern Mickey Caramel Apple is covered with bright orange sugar that makes it all sparkly.

And don’t you love the pool of white chocolate that makes up Ghost Mickey’s trailing “hemline”? Really, white chocolate specters are the tastiest, don’t you think?

Pure, sweetness is also on tap with these [Read more…]

Dining in Disneyland: The New and Improved Candy Palace

After months of being boarded up earlier this year, the walls came down around Disneyland’s iconic candy shop in May. Let’s take a look at the newly remodeled Candy Palace!

Candy Palace

The new Candy Palace was carefully designed so that everything looks “edible.” From the gorgeous chandeliers to the tiled floors and even the Exit sign, the interior does look yummy!
