When Halloween Time began last month in Disneyland Resort, we headed to the west coast to show you the best (and creepiest) eats. And what we found at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in Disney California Adventure Park was one of our favorites.
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot’s The Land Pavilion is a hidden gem to many. If you’re unfamiliar with it – it is that food court you run by while you’re on your way to Soarin’! 😀
Don’t get turned off by “food court” because there is always something good cooking here! And we made a brand new discovery! [Read more…]
Port Orleans French Quarter Resort has been home to several discoveries this past summer including Mickey-Shaped Beignets in Sassagoula Floatworks Food Court and Boozy Beignets at Scat Cats Club. And not to be left out, Saratoga Springs’ Artist’s Palette asked us to “choose them” with an Alien Dessert recently.
Our newest update from these resorts has to do with their Pizzas.
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort includes plenty of sweet treats like the ones our intrepid Disneyland correspondent Heather (hiya, @DiningInDisney!) found at Jolly Holiday Bakery and Cafe, but for those looking for savory eats, you’ll find plenty of those, too!
We already gave you the heads up about yummy eats at Pacific Wharf Cafe, and now we’re at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta in Disney California Adventure Park for some pizza that’s sure to keep the vampires away!
If you’ve walked the boardwalk around Disney World’s Boardwalk Inn resort recently you may have noticed there was some work being done on the Boardwalk Pizza Window located outside Trattoria al Forno. We now know the menu was being updated!
The location now offers a broader menu with more pizza choices – in a personal size or a whole pie, as well as sub sandwiches, new salads and desserts. [Read more…]
Hi, friends! We’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re talkin’ PIZZA in Disney World… the best AND the worst!
Because who doesn’t love it? I mean, you really can’t go wrong with pizza… or can you? Thanks to the addition of a few new pizza joints over the past couple of years, there’s a larger range of choices for pizza in Disney World now than ever before. The World of Disney food is a complex and ever-changing one, and that makes keeping track of it all darn near impossible. That’s why you have us. 😉 Here we will unravel 21 of the most prolific Myths About Walt Disney World food!
1. The kids’ menu is only for kids.
Y’all, if your vacation is packed full of Advance Dining Reservations and tasty quick service joints, you’ll want to know that this myth doesn’t hold water. Anyone can order from the kids’ menu — and if you or your traveling companions have eyes that are bigger than your stomachs, the kids’ menu might be just right for you! Often you can find similar offerings, both common (like chicken nuggets at Columbia Harbour House) and not so common (like sustainable fish bowls at Satu’li Canteen).
Whether you’re looking to save stomach space, hate wasting food, or want to save a little money, don’t neglect the kids’ menu!
2. Only sit-down restaurants are high quality.
So we’re back with our recommendations for where to use your Quick Service Disney Dining Plan credits at Walt Disney World.
Pixar Fest kicks off all over Disneyland Resort on Friday — and things are starting to look different in more ways than one. Take Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland, for instance. The Counter Service spot is undergoing a transformation — also known as an overlay — for the duration of Pixar Fest as it becomes Alien Pizza Planet, themed for Pixar’s Toy Story!
The little green men are taking over, and we’d love to give you a look at what they’re serving. And we’ll start, of course, with PIZZA!!
