Looks like he’s already a hit… because FORKY, the new character in Toy Story 4 (which hits theaters on June 21st) has already been honored with his very first Disney World cupcake!
Walt Disney World’s Art of Animation Resort is a truly larger-than-life hotel with a food court that’s big on color and unique dishes.
When traveling to Disney World with a family or group of five or more people, finding a resort that fits your family’s needs and budget can be challenging.
Should you stay in a Value, Moderate, Deluxe, or Deluxe Villa? Should you stay in one room, two rooms, or a suite? There are so many options for families of five or larger groups, and today we’re going to check out a few of them! [Read more…]
Resort dining in Walt Disney World can be a massive amount of fun.
Landscape of Flavors
And while we all know there are great resort spots like ‘Ohana, California Grill, and Sanaa, we don’t often spend much time celebrating food courts, even though they are packed with options and can be pretty cool. But just over five years ago, a Resort food court came along that was kind of a game changer: the Art of Animation Resort’s Landscape of Flavors.
It’s true: we give this place a lot of credit due to its more innovative dishes with some international flair. (Though I have to give a nod to some other Value Resort food courts for spicing things up recently with things like the All-Star Movies World Premiere Food Court Secret Menu!)

Everything Pop Food Court
We JUST visited Landscape of Flavors in the Art of Animation Resort to try their new Miniature Whoopie Pies. I mention that because those unfamiliar with this area of Disney World may not know that it’s just a quick stroll over the bridge across Hourglass Lake to Pop Century. This is a huge boon for guests at either resort who have easy access to arguably two of the best food courts in Disney World. Hoping to try more exotic flavors? Hop on over to the Landscape. Craving comfort food served up with a side of quirkiness? Take a stroll to Everything Pop!
But on this visit, fresh from Art of Animation, I couldn’t help but notice that Everything Pop is hopping on the Mini Train, too. In this case, it’s an assortment of Mini Dessert Tarts up for grabs, so let’s “pop” in for bite!
Everything POP Food Court certainly lives up to its name…
It hosts a bright and fun atmosphere with lots of color and creativity. [Read more…]
Another fun addition to the Disney “landscape” in 2012 will be Landcapes Cafe (ha ha…get it…?), the new food court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
The food court will share space with the Ink and Paint Shop shopping area adjacent to Animation Hall — similar to Everything Pop at Pop Century Resort. According to DisneyWorld.com, Landscapes will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and feature four unique cooking stations serving pizza and pasta, all-American burgers, international favorites, fresh salads, and sandwiches. The standard “Grab ‘n Go” market selections will also be available.
We’ve heard that the food court will feature items like [Read more…]
