I want to see 14 of these groups. So why, how, why am I always there for the band I never want to see, which is Starship? With the exception of the year I caught Howard Jones (No One is to Blame, Things Can Only Get Better) doing a really great set, I’ve been there for Starship every one of the 4 times they’ve played. It’s just Mickey Thomas at this point! He covered Jefferson Airplane songs that he wasn’t even associated with. Ugh.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest. Saw Boys II Men this summer. They are still very very good.
GG — I feel the same way. I, personally, love Starship, but I don’t get to see them (or Howard Jones) this year. Sadness.
AJ – Well, more time for the food I guess. I’ll be consoled with that.
