Back by popular demand, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin will once again be hosting its popular Food and Wine Classic!
Mark your calendars for Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31, as the Classic celebrates its sixth year! Once again in 2015, the Food and Wine Classic will take place during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival — offering you two wonderful ways to enjoy the food of Disney!
There’s so much to enjoy at this event. Let’s take a closer look at all it has to offer.
The Causeway
Stroll the beautiful Causeway connecting the Swan and Dolphin as you enjoy tapas-sized plates from the resort’s restaurants.
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to sample wine and beer from all around the world. The menu is diverse, celebrating the wide array of food that the Swan and Dolphin has to offer.
We can’t wait to see what spots like Todd English’s bluezoo and Shula’s Steak House offer in 2015!
And there are always a few fun surprises, like Chef Cib’s Smokehouse. Live music plays as evening falls, so bring your dancing shoes. 🙂
Food and Beverage Seminars
The 6th Annual Food and Wine Classic will also play host to several Seminars. Choose from seven different beverage events, or participate in food and beverage seminars that pair together internationally-inspired favorites with the perfect drink to complement them!
For a full list of the seminars, be sure to visit our Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic Seminar Page!
The Beer Garden
The Beer Garden, which was introduced to the Food and Wine Classic in 2014, returns this year.
This exclusive area of the Classic is available for an additional fee, and features international craft beers and foods that pair well with them. Look for the Beer Garden on Crescent Terrace.

Think they priced me out this year.
Do you have to pay for alcohol once inside the beer garden? Or is it included with the price of “access”?
Adrienne — both food and beer in the beer garden are included in the price of access.
I really wanted to go to this in October and even booked a plane and hotel, but it looks like they are not selling the individual ticket books this year. I was planning to bring my kids (teen and preteen who love to try new food), but they will not get their money’s worth out of a $105 pass when they can’t have any alcohol.
Is this meant to price out any kids from coming? Will they not offer the ticket books this year?
I realize it is not an event catered to kids, but my kids see dining as an adventure and were looking forward to this more than Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Also, I am a HUGE craft beer lover, but my wife is not a beer fan at all. She would not be able to go to the beer garden unless she bought the upgrade, correct?
Mark — I called the Swan and Dolphin this morning, and they confirmed they’ll offer the a la carte ticket books again this year, but they will only be available for purchase at the time of the event. I haven’t been as successful getting an answer to your question about the beer garden access. You may want to give them a call and see if they can answer that one for you. Good luck!
Mark, I cannot speak for this year however, last year my wife was indeed able to go into the beer garden with me. She is not a big beer person and did not partake in any of the offerings food or beer but she was able to walk inside with me.
Brooke – Thank you for calling. That was above and beyond. I really appreciate it.
Scott – Thanks for the info, that is good news!
