If you’re hoping to catch one of your favorite acts at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series during the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival — but don’t so much care for the waiting in line part — then we have some good news for you!
Of course, Eat to the Beat Dining Packages are certainly an option (operating in the same fashion as the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages during the holidays). But perhaps you do NOT plan to eat a full meal at a Table Service Restaurant during the Festival, preferring to eat your way around World Showcase throughout the day among the Festival Marketplace Booths.
Well, guess what! You can now select a FastPass+ for your preferred date and concert time for your Food and Wine Festival day at Epcot!
So, how do you begin?
Just login to the My Disney Experience portion of the Disney World website (which is what I did for the screenshots below), or use the My Disney Experience app and begin the FastPass+ selection process.
You’ll notice that an Eat to the Beat Concert is eligible as a Tier 1 attraction for Epcot.
(You can only select one from the group, which also includes Soarin’ and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth).
You can still select two more FastPass+ options from the Tier 2 group.
As you go through the process, you will be able to modify your choices to find the time that best works for you (as always, you will see the “Options” on the screen to look through and select your preferred time, or you can even modify your selections after the fact, as with any regular attraction).
For the 8:00 pm show, you’ll notice that arriving between 7:40 – 7:50 pm is suggested.
I made my selection and BAM! Next thing you know, it’ll be September 25th and I’ll be singing along to “Come Back to Me” with American Idol winner David Cook himself!
(Or, the more likely scenario, “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tiffany on October 24th. Or how about a little “Mmm Bop” by Hanson, anyone? But, I digress…)
Be sure to check out our Eat to the Beat page to see who will be performing during your visit!

As much as I’d love to not wait in line for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, I’m not sure I’m willing to give up my Soarin’ fast pass!
Michelle….unless you want to sit up front, you don’t need to stand in line for the concerts. After everyone in line gets seated, there, so far, have been plenty of seats. If there aren’t, you can even watch from just outside, at this point, you would be standing but you’d still have Soarin. I really think you’ll be able to just walk in and sit though. Have a wonderful time!
There is no need to get a fast pass for this
Wow, that’s great news for us locals. I don’t need to do Soarin’ 11 times during the festival. If you are coming on vacation, I agree don’t waste you pass on this, but for locals this is a very nice benefit. Well done Disney.
