Disney has provided a glimpse at some of the culinary items coming to the Epcot International Festival of the Arts.
Stay tuned to our 2017 Epcot International Festival of the Arts Main Page for ALL of the Latest Information!
And at first glance, ART certainly seems like the operative word! (Oh, and FYI, Disney didn’t mention what any of these things actually were, so your guess is as good as ours. Though this first picture definitely looks like Disney is adding pop tarts to its culinary line-up ??!?!?!?!??!?!)
Editor’s Note: Looks like these are Pop’t Art: Modern-designed Sugar Cookie with Chocolate Hazelnut Filling! Yum!
This new Festival will make its debut on January 13th and will run on Fridays through Mondays for six weekends (through February 20th). The Festival will focus on three aspects of art: Visual, Performing, and Culinary.
The Culinary Arts will be represented by the food items and beverages that will be served at Food Studios (aka Booths) located along the World Showcase promenade.
Disney shares that, “While the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival strives for seasonal flavors, and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is all about global cuisine, the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is all about works of art on a plate.” In fact, as part of the experience, guests will be able to watch chefs plating some of the dishes.
One thing it looks like the Festival of the Arts will share with its counterpart Festivals is that it will offer savory dishes…
… as well as plenty of sweet treats.
And, of course, a few beverages to complement the whole thing!
The Visual Arts will be represented by art pieces ranging from the work of Mary Blair and Herb Ryman to current Disney artists such as Costa Alavezos and Joe Kaminski, and the Performing Arts will be celebrated with Broadway talent performing at the America Gardens Theatre.
So get ready to please your palate (and your palette! 😉 ), when the first ever Epcot International Festival of the Arts begins on January 13th!
Pin it for later!

Where can I find the schedule for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts?
We will be there….although I am looking forward to it, we keep running out of non-busy times of the year to visit since they keep adding things to draw crowds.
I will be going is there a schedule published yet
We will be there. Looking forward to the Broadway singers. Thanks for the food photos, but I absolutely do not trust food photos from Disney. Hope you publish some real ones on cardboard when the booths open. We did Food and Wine booths based on your photos of the real items and we’re not disappointed.
We are super excited for this event! Lucky it falls during the dates we will be visiting ❤️
WOW! I am now officially very excited for this!
Mark — We’re so glad to hear our reporting was helpful! You know we’ll be there as soon as this Festival opens 😀
Thanks for sharing these! We will be there on opening day (quite by accident) so I’m excited about this–but apprehensive, since it is new. Can’t wait!
Tracy — We’ll be bringing you more details very soon! Stay tuned!
