Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival
kicks off on August 31 with an epic and record-breaking number of food booths — 35 — representing cuisines and lifestyles from around the globe.
And as part of the Festival’s on-going commitment to providing awesome eats for guests of all kinds, many of the booths are featuring Gluten Free options! We expect to see lots of signage indicating the GF dishes. And of course cast members can also answer your food allergy questions.
In the meantime, let’s dish about the dishes! At Active Eats — a new-to-the-Festival booth that focuses on high-energy, nourishing eats — you can order up Roasted Verlasso Salmon with Quinoa Salad and Arugula Chimichurri! Yum!
For an entree with a kick, head over to India. Here you can try Madras Red Curry with Roasted Cauliflower, Baby Carrots, Chickpeas, and Basmati Rice. We love how complex and soulful this dish is. It also has the added bonus of being meat-free (if that’s your jam)!
But if you’re in the mood to satisfy your inner carnivore, we have some awesome news: the Canada booth’s famous “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle-Butter Sauce is also gluten free (and crazy delicious!). And the perennial favorite is back again this year!
But what’s a stroll through the food booths without a little dessert? (I mean, you’re strolling. That’s exercise. You’ve earned it!) The Chocolate Studio has your back with a Liquid Nitro Chocolate-Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey-Caramel. Yum!
For a full list of the Gluten Free options available at this year’s Festival Booths, visit our Gluten Free Items page! We’ll keep it updated if/when anything changes, but in the meantime, start planning your visit now!
