The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail Now Open for 2017 — Now With Food! (Sort of!)

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail made its debut last year. Fitting, since 2016 was the year that Disney Springs celebrated its Grand Opening from the area’s transformation from Downtown Disney.

And, just like Disney Springs itself, the Holiday Christmas Tree Trail itself has expanded this year, too! Last year’s Trail featured 15 Christmas Trees, themed to Disney films and characters.

There’s also a snack stop this year.

Nothing super fancy; just Hot Cocoa, Glazed Almonds and such.

But it doesn’t matter the time of year — whenever I catch the fragrance of Glazed Almonds in the air, I think of the holidays. So, they’re a nice fit here.

There’s even a Seasonal Hard Cider and Ciroc Vodka with Lemonade on tap. Happy Holidays, y’all!!

I’m a Californian and love my almonds; but I would have expected glazed pecans! Or better yet, it is Christmas and why not roasted chestnuts?

What a great time last night taking the walk through, last year it felt a little ‘thrown together’. We checked in to the Santa queue at the entrance by Earl of Sandwich, by the time we strolled through and got some pictures with the tree (about 35 minutes) we got a text that Santa was ready. Really well done this year. You *have to* go at night, under the lights, with the snow machines on. Really feel slick Christmas. Even when it was 68 degrees at 9:00.

My only complaint would be the loud dance party at the splash pad in front of Earl of Sandwich, which drowned out the Christmas music for the first half of the trail.

Good to hear it’s better than last year, which was totally underwhelming. Maybe we’ll give it a second chance on our staycation in December.

Loved the trees and enjoyed the silver lady watched her for a long time what a nice display saw it last year and thought it was beautiful but this year is even better thanks for the show
