It’s challenge time, Disney food friends! And this time it’s all about the Main Mouse: Mickey! You already know that we love pretty much all things Mickey-shaped, so what better excuse to munch on those iconic ears than with a Mickey-Shaped Food Challenge?! Thanks to our DFB youtube channel viewer who suggested this fun challenge!
Disney Food Challenge: Mickey-Shaped Eats
Check out 19 of our favorites below
— and see if you can get ’em all!!!
1. Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar
First up is the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar: vanilla ice cream coated a thick chocolate (flavored) shell. That chocolate leans toward the dark side, and it’s a terrific combination with the sweet ice cream. And then, of course, there are the ears. There’s no better place to start, folks!
Find the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar at any ice cream novelty cart in the parks, or in your Resort’s food court.
2. Mickey Mouse House-Made Pecan Praline
The surprising Mickey Mouse House-made Pecan Praline can be found at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter, and it’s totally worth the visit to the resort! It’s a salty/sweet combo packed with pecans, and it’s SO good.
3. Mickey Pretzel
This next Mickey-shaped food is about as classic as it gets: the Mickey Pretzel. You can find this all over the parks, and it typically comes with a little tub of cheese for dipping. (Scrounge up some chocolate from a churro stand, and you’ve got yourself a salty/sweet food hack!)
4. Mickey Solid Chocolates
There is more to these deceptively simple treats than meets the eye! The solid Mickey-shaped chocolates come in milk and dark — and each is paired with an unusual counterpart. The milk chocolate is flecked with banana chips, while the dark gets a lift from chili pepper flakes! How’s that for a grown-up chocolate? Find ’em at Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Animal Kingdom!
5. Mickey (Colossal) Cinnamon Roll
This family-sized treat makes a great breakfast or treat that’s totally share-able. You can find the Colossal Mickey Cinnamon Roll at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom and in the Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom (the Starbucks locations in these parks). And if you visit during the later part of the year, you might catch one with a chocolate spider web for Halloween or Christmas vibe (with red and green icing)!
6. Mickey Cake Pops
can be found all over the parks (and in confectionery cases at BoardWalk Inn and the Contemporary Resort). They’re classic and awesome — and they often come in a variety of colors or seasonal decorative accents. We pretty much never leave Walt Disney World without consuming at least one of these charming pops.
7. Mickey Waffles
You knew we had to include these iconic treats — and Mickey Waffles aren’t just for breakfast, my friends! Of course, you can enjoy them on breakfast buffets and menus all over the parks, but you’ll find a giant-sized Mickey Waffle at Sleepy Hollow, where you can get one covered in strawberries and whipped cream any time of day, and at Contempo Cafe, where it’s covered in bananas foster sauce! And for a totally unique way to eat a Mickey Waffle, head to the End Zone Food Court at All-Star Sports where this Mickey-shaped treat is part of a Gelato Sundae!
8. Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich Hack
For a Mickey-shaped food hack, head to Main Street Confectionery and pick up two large Mickey Ear Cookies. Then stop at Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a scoop of your favorite ice cream and a tub of your favorite sauce. Find a spot to chill while you assemble your Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich!
9. Mickey Ganache
This fabulous treat is a Mickey-shaped tart shell filled with chocolate ganache and (in some cases) topped with Mickey’s face! We know: we had you at ganache. You’ll find this tasty treat at some of the resorts, including Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at French Quarter, and the BoardWalk Bakery!
10. Mickey Mousse at Amorette’s Patisserie
The Mickey Mousse at Amorette’s Patisserie is a fantastically upscale Mickey-shaped food sure to satisfy and impress! This isn’t just Mickey-shaped; it’s Mickey-crafted! Between the ears, the tail, and the sweet yellow buttons, the Mickey Mousse has all the makings of a new classic!
11. Limoncello Mule at Via Napoli
To drink your Mickey treat, make an Advance Dining Reservation at Via Napoli in Epcot’s Italy pavilion! Here you can order a Limoncello Mule that’s had a little Mickey makeover with lemon and lime slices!
12. Mickey Scone
Found in confectionery cases around Walt Disney World property, the Mickey Scone comes in two delightful flavors: Blueberry and Birthday Cake. That second one surprised us with its rich texture and fun, colorful confetti!
13. Mickey Cupcakes
There is no shortage of Mickey Cupcakes in Walt Disney World, so this part of the challenge should be easy to fulfill! You can find Mickey Cupcakes at Main Street Bakery (often with pink vanilla frosting or chocolate frosting). For an Oreo Mickey Cupcake, head to BoardWalk Bakery, Fountain View in Epcot’s Future World, or several of the resort food courts!
14. Mickey Shortbread Cookie
This classic cookie is slightly almond-y and wholly adorable! Mickey Shortbread Cookies can be found at confectionery locations just about everywhere, and while they are super simple, they’re also simply great! We love the different colors for seasonal versions!
15. Mickey Gingerbread Cookie
You can find the Mickey Gingerbread Cookie in confectionery cases during the holidays, of course — but he often appears throughout the year in many confectionery cases! So even though he might be a little harder to find, just keep your eyes peeled… and grab him when you can!
16. Mickey Kids’ Ice Cream Cone
For the kiddos (and the kids at heart!), stop into Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a Mickey Kids’ Ice Cream Cone! This small ice cream cone features two Mickey ears. If you prefer a larger cone and still want the Mickey treatment, just ask!
17. Mickey Rice Krispie Treats
This one is a no-brainer! Mickey Rice Krispie Treats come in a variety of designs for the current season or latest Disney flick, or just for fun! Find yours in a confectionery case just about anywhere! And they even come on sticks sometimes for bonus points 😉 .
18. Mickey Red Shorts Caramel Apple
For a classic Disney World treat, pick up a Mickey Red Shorts Caramel Apple at one of the confectionery spots around the World! Ask them to cut it for you so you can eat it more easily (or share it, if you’re so inclined!).
Mickey also dons his holiday best throughout the year, so you might find him in a more seasonal outfit, too!
19. Mickey Brownie
The Chocolate-Covered Mickey Brownie is a dense brownie that packs enough chocolate punch to satisfy even the biggest of sweet tooths!
Find it at a few Resort food courts, including Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter!
Ok, now… I know that’s a LOT to take in. So if you need a little refresher, check out the whole challenge in our DFB YouTube video!

AJ, I believe a good journalist or blogger should only present challenges of this type AFTER a unbiased person has gone on an all expenses paid trip to actually DO the challenge. I’m glad to tell you that I will be glad to provide you with this service. 🙂
I believe Essie needs back up to take on this challenge it is way to much for one person. I volunteer to help.
This is the perfect fun food challenge I plan to take during my 19 day stay in May following my eight week not so fun food challenge at my gym!
Many of these treats are not available at Disneyland, can you please make all Disney treats be available at boyhood anaheim and Florida.
