Dessert Parties have become increasingly popular in Disney World as a way to enjoy a dessert buffet with reserved viewing for a nighttime spectacular in the parks. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party in Epcot pairs a dessert buffet with reserved viewing for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, and also adds an after-hours ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction.
It is not unusual for the booking window for dessert parties to be less than the 180-day window typically available for booking dining experiences, since the party start time is based on what are often yet-to-be-determined showtimes at that point. But we have received a lot of questions about the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party in particular, since so many guests are excited for the potential to fit it in with their plans for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
So we wanted to let interested guests know that the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party is now open for select dates through December 24th via the Disney World website (which brings us through much of the run of the Epcot Festival of the Holidays as well)!

This really is an amazing experience! My family and I did it last year and absolutely loved it!! The viewing position for Illuminations is unbeatable, the food was terrific, and the fact that you get to ride Frozen after the park closes means you can use that coveted FP+ slot for something else! One word of advice though. The “Pina Colada” drink they make is GROSS!!!! Truly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever tasted. If you want a good Pina Colada, wait for your trip to Trader Sam’s!
Lisa Gladney says
After several long months of waiting for the dates to be posted, I was bale to finally book our reservations for Frozen yesterday morning! We are beyond excited about this dessert party and it was on the TOP of our MUST DO’s during our Sister Trip!! 🙂
SHAWNA BANGAY says
What does the line for the ride end-up being like afterwards?
Is it chaotic? Just trying to get an idea of how many people are involved.
This would be a huge drawn for us to book this party.
DFB Sarah says
Shawna, you’ll be guided through the Fastpass+ line, just in case there are any lingering riders in the standby line. So your wait should be minimal!
Rena says
Did you have any idea when we will be able to book for January?
DFB Sarah says
Rena, we’ll keep watching.
Robin says
Waiting to book in January 2019. Please let us know if dates open up. Thanks
Chris says
Any idea when the February 2019 dates are likely to come available
Dani Tumbleson says
Our first trip to Disney World will be May 2019… any hope of this being around during that time? Very excited and crossing my fingers! Thank you!!
DFB Sarah says
Dani, we would expect so!
DFB Sarah says
Chris, we would expect to see them in the next 2-3 months. But it could be sooner!
Chris says
Thank you
Dorothy McNeill says
Would like to know when dates for March 23 thru March 28, 2019 will be available? Thank you.
DFB Sarah says
Dorothy, that remains to be seen. Hopefully by early 2019 at the latest!
Lisa Gladney says
The dates for our trip in November 2018, were released on 8/7/18, and booking window opened up the next day on 8/8/18, which is 3 months from our trip. Even though website says you can book this 180 days in advance, this is not true! I would say it will be ready for booking about 3 months before a trip. 🙂
margaret thomson says
January is blank does that mean it’s sold out
DFB Sarah says
Margaret, it looks like they haven’t released those dates for reservations, yet. In August they released through December, so hopefully we’ll see some dates open up for early 2019 soon.
Kourtni says
Does this show sell out quickly? I’ve been checking all the days that I will be there in December and there no available time for a party of 2. I even checked on days in October and November and no available times.
DFB Sarah says
Kourtni, the dessert party may indeed be sold out for those dates. It’s a popular party (especially since IllumiNations is ending next year, and folks might be more enthusiastic than normal about seeing the show). Keep checking in case there are openings, though! People frequently drop ADRs, and you might catch it!
Michelle says
Any idea if the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be available between Christmas and NYE (specifically 12/19/28)? Was it offered this week last year? If so, any guess as to when the package will be released? Thank you!!
DFB Sarah says
Michelle, when I search on DisneyWorld.com for a December 19 party, it indicates there is a party that night, but there’s no availability. In all likelihood, it is sold out. You can keep checking to see if anything opens up between now and then. Perhaps you’ll get lucky and find an opening!
Michelle says
Thank you, Sarah. In reading your reply, I realized a typo in my original post. I am asking if the dessert party will be held between Christmas and NYE, specifically on December 29th (not the 19th, sorry). As of this morning, nothing had been posted past December 24th. ?
Jennifer says
I’m beginning to wonder if they’re getting rid of this for 2019. We did it in September of 2017 and I was looking forward to doing it in January and I’ve been checking almost daily for dates for the past week or so and so far nothing. 🙁 was definitely nice to have that fast pass covered on top of the desserts/drinks.
DFB Sarah says
Jennifer, it’s disappointing that there aren’t any available dates in 2019. We’re hopeful they’ll be added, but we haven’t heard anything yet, unfortunately! Keep checking! If we see the dates extend, we’ll update!
Lisa Gladney says
Disney will only posts dates about 2-3 months in advance. I just came back from WDW and id the dessert party. The booking window did NOT open for our dates until August!
Ashley says
We will be in Disney World for the first time on January 17. I keep looking but still i see nothing. So grad to have found other people that are waiting on these dates too.
Nikki says
We are going in january 2019 as well…literally every morning when i wake up and every night when i go to bed (and sometimes in between) i look to see if dates posted. Glad im not alone ?
BearsMom says
We are arriving in February and very much want to include this event into our trip. Frustrating not knowing if they intend to continue this party! Wish Disney would just say one way or the other.
DFB Sarah says
BearsMom — we’re with you! Sooner is always better when it comes to these special events.
Ashley says
Jumping for joy right now!! They finally have dates available for January.
Lisa Gladney says
Also, FYI…
They onky have about 30 tables for this party and each table seats 5 guests, which means roughly 150 tickets are sold for the party! I looked and counted cause i was just there on 11/16/18
BearsMom says
YES! Booked for February. The dates were up for two days without allowing you to book but a TA friend of mine said that is normal and to keep checking every morning. FINALLY!
Mike says
When will the dates for January 2020 be posted? It’s already halfway through November! 😱
DFB Sarah says
Mike, we’re watching! No word on this yet.
