The 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival in in full swing and there’s so much to see, and do, and EAT!
And, if you’re a football fan AND a foodie, there’s a new event made just for you! On select Monday afternoons through mid-October you can stop in the Festival Center for a Food and Wine Tailgate Tasting!
The Tailgate Tasting takes place from 4:30PM – 5:15PM on September 17 and 24, and October 1, 8, and 15. The first Tailgate Tasting was Monday, September 10.
During the Tailgate you get to enjoy a three “sample size” foods inspired by the cities playing in the game each week along with three different beverages, all while learning how to prepare the dishes you’re eating.
A sample menu includes: New York BBQ Meatballs served with Angry Orchard Rose Hard Cider, Detroit Berbere BBQ Ribs served with Bell’s Oberone Ale, and Smoked Brie Mac and Cheese served with a Tropical Mimosa.
The Food and Wine Tailgate Tasting event hosted by ESPN Monday Night Football and is free to attend.
If you want to attend, pick up a wristband at the Festival Center starting at 9 a.m. each Monday for that day’s seminar. All guests must be present to receive their wristbands. Both wristbands and seating at the event are available on a first come, first serve basis.
