It’s definitely looking a little more artistic around Epcot this week as the park prepares for the opening of the Festival of the Arts next Friday, January 18! During our visit to Epcot this week we spotted the booths in the process of changing over from the Festival of the Holidays to the Festival of the Arts, as well as other sure signs a new Festival is about to begin!

We are getting excited, and our bags are packed as we prepare to be there on opening day to provide you with photos of all of the food, drinks, activities, merchandise — and of course the Best of the Fest! 

Our favorite part of any Festival is the food booths (called food studios during this festival), and we’ve spotted some returning favorites! Check out the full list of booths and menus here.

Pop Eats! has a new look for 2019 in a different booth. But, don’t worry, the very artistic Almond Frangipane Cake will be back! See the full Pop Eats! menu here.

Deconstructed Dish is returning and we are looking forward to their very awesome, deconstructed presentations of classics like the BLT and Reuben sandwiches!  See the full Deconstructed Dish menu here.

Cuisine Classique, still bearing a Christmas wreath, is getting ready to serve up their braised beef short ribs and yummy Saint Honore tart again! See the full Cuisine Classique menu here.

While still looking a little Christmasy we hope the chefs at L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise are ready to serve up their new Molten Chocolate Cake because it sounds delicious! See the full L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise menu here.

El Arista Hambriento (The Hungry Artisit) is bringing back those instagram-ready margaritas featuring Frieda and Diego! See the full El Arista Hambriento menu here.

In Morocco the chefs at Mosaic Canteen will be bringing back our favorite Mediterranean Flatbread! See the full  Mosaic Canteen menu here.

In Japan’s Takumi Table is bringing back a favorite — Taiyaki, the Fish-shaped Japanese Sweet Stuffed Pastry with Red Bean Paste and topped with Whipped Cream and Sesame Custard! See the full Takumi Table menu here.

A sipping chocolate flight! What more could you want! The Artist’s Table is bringing this wonder back, and we’re looking forward to trying the new Beef Wellington here. See the full Artist’s Table menu here.

We’re hoping that the returning Charcuterie Palette with Artisan Cured Meats and Cheeses is as good as it was last year at Canada’s Masterpiece Kitchen! See the full Masterpiece Kitchen menu here.

Of course no festival is complete without shopping! But the shopping is a little different at this festival — each of the stands in the photos below will be home to mini art galleries featuring one to as many as three or four artists’ work. Periodically during the festival artists will be on-site to chat with you and autograph and purchased artwork.

There’s also that giant mural that guests to Epcot get to paint! We don’t know what the art will be this year, but here’s a photo of last year’s featuring Figment. What do you think will be on this year’s mural?
