There are two new limited time menu items at D-Luxe Burger, and we thought it was a lovely day to visit Disney Springs to try them!
New Caribbean Burger at D-Luxe in Disney Springs
You’ll spot one of the two items on the burger menu in this fast-casual restaurant, and that’s the Caribbean Burger. It’s $12.49.

The second item is not yet appearing on the menu, but you can also order up Tostones — deep-fried flattened plantains — for $4.99.

The Caribbean Burger is a patty made with D-Luxe’s signature blend of meats and topped with chayote slaw, Scotch Bonnet Pepper Aioli, fried plantain, lettuce, and tomato.

And the combo of those ingredients is delicious, though the burger itself seemed to have a little less of a “wow” factor than others we’ve enjoyed here previously.

There wasn’t much in the way of heat from the aioli, which is what we feel was missing.

And those plantains are super crispy. So much so that, while they’re a pretty fantastic touch in regards to flavor, they’re a little difficult to eat topping the burger.

Which is why we’re glad that the Tostones are available to be ordered on their own.

These are a really fun change of pace for a side item, and even though they have been announced as a limited run item, we’d love to see them added as a regular side option… especially when considering the options for dipping here at D-Luxe!

We did DeLux Burger in early Dec., 2018′ and were so hyped to try it, being big Burger fans! Sooo Disappointing, the burger was very finely ground, dense, and lacking a good cheeseburger flavor!
Don’t think we’ll be back………..Dissapointed.
I have done it and will give it a pass next trip.
Love, love, love D-Lixe burger. Burgers are fantastic. Fries are amazing, sauces can’t be be beat. Shakes are also outstanding. A must do every time we visit Disney Springs.
