As we snack our way around Disneyland Resort to try the specialty items for “Get Your Ears On” — A Mickey and Minnie Celebration, our stops include more than counter service locations and snack carts and kiosks. They also include Table Service restaurants like River Belle Terrace in Disneyland.

Because when you hear that one of your favorite restaurants in serving something called Cookie Butter Monkey Bread… well, you make it happen!

The Cookie Butter Monkey Bread isn’t the only specialty item you’ll find at River Belle Terrace, though. A Mickey Jumbo Pretzel is also available as part of the Get Your Ears On offerings. And now through February 18th, you’ll also see a Chocolate Lava Cake in honor of Valentine’s Month.

The Mickey Jumbo Pretzel isn’t a large version of the regular Mickey Soft Pretzel you’ll typically find around the parks.

Instead, this truly JUMBO pretzel is a hand-crafted Bavarian Pretzel twisted into a classic Mickey shape!

Gorgeous, right?

Grain mustard and cheese sauce come alongside for dipping, and the soft, golden pretzel works equally well with both.

You get some sweetness from the mustard sauce along with all the gooey, savory yumminess you’d expect with the cheese dip.

And now onto that Cookie Butter Monkey Bread we were talking about!

I mean, Monkey Bread on its own is already pretty awesome, with the buttery, super soft bread coated in cinnamon-sugar.

But the shell of speculoos cookie butter sauce generously poured over a scoop of vanilla ice cream further sweetens the deal, sitting atop a cookie butter cream anglaise with a butter cookie for garnish (or another dessert 😉 ) sticking out of the top. Creamy and buttery, sweet and saucy… it’s all here. We LOVED these additions!
