When Will World of Color Return to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort?

The highly anticipated return of the World of Color nighttime spectacular to Disney California Adventure is happening soon!

As of the original press time for this post, the official return date from the show’s refurbishment had not yet been confirmed on the Disneyland website; however, this post has been updated as we have just received word that the first day of World of Color soft openings will be February 22nd. The soft openings will take place through February 28th, with the official reopening set for March 1st.

World of Color Dessert Party

As of the original press time, the page for the World of Color Dessert Party revealed dates beginning February 22nd. That said, no bookable times show up for that date. Additionally, the World of Color Dining Packages for Wine Country Trattoria do not appear until February 23rd. Carthay Circle Restaurant packages, on the other hand, do populate (but are not yet bookable) for February 22nd… whew!

So, a call to Disneyland DINE (714-781-3463) resulted in learning that the show appears to be slated to return on Friday, February 22nd (even though the specialty dining events are not entirely bookable for that date). And this post has been updated to reflect that this has been confirmed.
