We spent some time visiting the Grand Floridan and Polynesian Village Resorts while on our way to the Magic Kingdom, and spotted some menu updates for you!

After enjoying a Lapu Lapu at the recently renovated Tambu Lounge we found some menu updates at Kona Island.
Kona Island Coffee & Sushi has updated their sushi menu to include a new Spicy Tuna Roll. The large and small Sushi Samplers have been removed from the menu.

The Chicken Noodle Bowl has been added to the to-go menu. You could usually find this dish in the cooler before, but it was not officially listed on the menu — until now!

When we visit the Grand Floridian we always enjoy time spent in Mizner’s Lounge as we listen to the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. Now, there’s a new appetizer to share while relaxing!

The new Truffle Fries are topped with shaved black truffles and 18-month aged Parmesan. Sign us up!

At this resort’s quick-service location, Gasparilla Island Grill, your kiddos will find a new option. The kids’ sandwich is now an Open-Faced Roast Beef Sandwich, which replaces the Holiday Turkey Sandwich.

We went to Kona Cafe for breakfast twice on our vacation last year. My mom loved it so much, she said to me while we were still eating “Quick get on that app you have and make us reservations for Friday as well.” After breakfast and walking around the resort a little bit, mom decided that as much as she loves Wilderness Lodge properties, she wants to stay at he Poly next time simply so she can eat breakfast at Kona every morning. (ok she thinks it is a gorgeous place but Kona is her #1 reason lol)
