There are sure signs of spring all over Walt Disney World! And while the most obvious might be the 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival which just kicked off last week, another is the arrival of the Spring Milkshake at the Beach Club Resort’s Beaches and Cream.
The Dreamsicle Shake is custom-made for fans of that orange-meets-vanilla flavor combo.
And, as with the other over-the-top Shakes at Beaches and Cream, it’s accessorized… with more treats!
In this case, these include two krispy treats made with colorful fruity pebbles that come along with whipped cream, a cherry, and marshmallow drizzle lining the souvenir Beaches and Cream plastic jar.
Now, fans of Beaches and Cream may already be familiar with Frozen Sunshine, which has long been the go-to citrus shake of the house. It’s likewise made with rainbow sherbet and ice cream to make a cold, citrusy sip.
But where the Frozen Sunshine has seltzer to lighten up the texture a bit, the Dreamsicle Shake carries more of that rich, thick creaminess you associate with a shake making it even more decadent.
Of course, the Dreamsicle Shake does come in at twice the price of the Frozen Sunshine ($14.00 for the shake as opposed to $7.00 for the Frozen Sunshine). But, keep in mind that the Dreamsicle also includes the souvenir cup, while the Frozen Sunshine does not. When you also factor in the added krispy treats, HUGE pile of whipped cream, and the obvious Instagram factor… you may very well be able to justify this springtime splurge!
We sure wouldn’t argue with you 😉 .

Can you get these shakes at the walk up window? Or do you need reservations?
Kelli, you can not get the shake at the window, but you can get it if you can find a seat at the bar. Our team member sat at the bar, ordered the shake, paid, and carried it out since it’s in a plastic cup. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know if the shakes will be available during the Beaches and Cream refers? I’m going in November when B&C will be closed. 🙁
Melly, we wouldn’t expect the shake to be available when the restaurant is closed, unfortunately. We’ll watch to see if any Beaches & Cream items appear elsewhere during the refurbishment. There will be a satellite ice cream shop of some kind at the Yacht and Beach Club, but no details have yet been released about what they’ll be serving.
I was wondering if you could tell me the exact refurbishment dates of Beache n’ Cream?
Tara, Disney hasn’t released exact dates, yet. Official word is August closure and December reopening.
Can the mini-kitchen sink sundae in the tale away Minnie bowl be purchased at the lake out at beaches & Cream?
Karen, we have not seen this as an option at Beaches & Cream.
