recently announced the return of the Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcake, and we had to stop in for a taste. (Click here to see the announcement of this savory-sweet cupcake’s return!) But if you think this was a straightforward experience, prepare for a plot twist!
Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcake
The first thing you’ll notice about the Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcake is that it looks flaming hot. Those unnaturally bright red Cheetos are pulverized and used to coat the white cheddar frosting beneath. There is NO escaping the Cheetos or the subtle heat they bring to the cupcake.

The cake is simple vanilla, which is good because this cupcake is filled with even MORE Flaming Hot Cheetos — thankfully also pulverized. (Could you imagine if there were full-on Cheetos inside?!) The combination of spicy Cheetos, savory white cheddar, and sweetened cake and frosting is spicy-savory-sweet: a true flavor trifecta.

We gotta be honest: the first bite was awful. It was tough to adjust to those Cheetos. But we ended up consuming the entire cupcake, which means: it’s good!

You have to get a little bit of everything in every bite in order to balance out those powerful Cheetos and the white cheddar, but if you like the trio of flavors, it’s definitely worth a try next time it comes around!

Those Flaming Hot Cheetos Cupcakes look so gross. I would never eat one of those! Not with so many other desserts to try!
So…..you didnt actually like it. Its ok to tell people a food item from WDW tastes bad. I’m sure it wont hurt your bottom line.
