Epcot’s Fountain View is not just the place to get your Starbucks caffeine fix…
And while we’ve all known that ever since it opened, as the spot has always served up snacks and pastries — including classic Starbucks treats and unique-to-Disney snacks — today we were reminded of that fact when we spotted the Peanut Butter Mickey Tart in the bakery case!
You may think you’ve seen this treat before… and that’s because the chocolate ganache Mickey Tart has been found at Resort counter service locations like BoardWalk Bakery for a long time. But the Peanut Butter Mickey Tart takes that adorable chocolate Mickey face over the classic Mickey-shaped tart…
And fills it with a thick layer of peanut buttery goodness!
A thin layer of chocolate ganache, though, is still indeed present.
It presents a dark chocolate over the peanut butter cream which has a light texture while being rich with peanut butter flavor.
The choice of dark chocolate lends a more adult flavor to the treat, while Mickey’s mug and the gooey texture still lets us feel like a kid while enjoying it!
The Mickey Peanut Butter Tart is $4.79 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Note that the specialty Disney snacks in Fountain View do tend to change with some frequency, so grab it while you can!
