To get you in the holiday spirit, Disney has announced a few special enhancements for select Magic Kingdom attractions that will take place during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

We’ve seen ride enhancements at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in recent years, and we can’t wait to experience them at Mickey’s Very Merry!
While speeding around the track at Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself surrounded by thousands of lights and stylized décor. There will also be a brand new holiday show at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.

As you travel through outer space on Space Mountain, you’ll get to jam out to some holiday tunes while you’re surrounded by dazzling lights. And that’s not all! The Mad Tea Party is also getting a holiday makeover. The attraction will become a wacky Christmas party as you spin around to four new holiday combinations of lights and music.
Of course, attraction overlays are not all Disney’s adding to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year. As we’ve shared previously, there will also be a brand new Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show!

Thank you for this info. We have never attended the Christmas party — this year will be our first time — and we are SO excited! I love that they are enhancing the rides with Christmas lights — we will definitely check out Space Mountain… it sounds like it’s going to be such a unique experience!
