Oh yeah… there’s another Disney foodie guide for the holidays and this one is for California Adventure!
There are going to be TONS of delicious holiday treats in Disneyland this year and we’re coming at you with a run down of all of them! From holiday churros to a Holiday Dinner Pizza (GENIUS), there’s a treat or eat for everyone at California Adventure this year. So, let’s dive in!
Churros
Let’s start strong with those awesome Holiday Churros! Grab a Peppermint Churro with chocolate and vanilla icing near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail!
There’s a super chocolate-y looking Milk & Cookies Churro at Hollywood Land Churro Cart. This one comes with a cookies and cream dipping sauce so it’s perfect for those milk and cookie-lovers!
AND over near Goofy’s Sky School, get a taste of the Horchata Churro with Condensed Milk. What a sweet spin on two traditional treats!
Cotton Candy
Around the park at other carts, look for fun holiday flavors of cotton candy like Hot Chocolate, Snowflake, and a Peppermint flavored Tree Shaped cotton candy!
Mortimer’s Market
Mortimer’s Market is once again offering up seasonal sourdough breads — this year in the shape of a Christmas Tree and a Snowman. These make wonderful gifts (if you don’t nibble on it all before you get home, that is!)
Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe
Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe has always been a reliable place to pick up some of your favorite holiday cookies. Find the Mickey Gingerbread Man and the Holiday Brownie here!
Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream
Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream is your stop if you want all things cool and pepperminty! Once again, they’re serving up their festive dipped ice cream cones including chocolate peppermint, red and green sprinkles, and, new this year, crushed candy cane!
The Chocolate Peppermint Sundae and Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Bar are returning as well!
Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge
Once again, Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge are serving up their Sleigh Ride Cocktail made with Premium gin, elderflower liqueur, fortified white wine, lemon juice, cherry bitters, and berry liqueur garnished with a lavender sprig.
We’re curious to see if they debut a new glow cube this year! Last year’s snowflake was VERY popular!
Read more about this drink and last year’s glow cube right here!
Award Wieners
Award Weiners has become our stop for all things funnel cake fries, but this year they’re only serving up one variety for the holidays — the Gingerbread Funnel Cake Fries are returning.
Read our review of the Gingerbread Funnel Cake Fries here!
They’re also offering up a Cheesy “Corn” Dog made with a Jalapeño-cheddar sausage, tangy corn-cheese sauce, chile-lime-dusted corn fritters, pickled fresno chiles, and cilantro on a toasted potato bun. This showed up earlier this summer at Award Weiners so it’s interesting to see it make a return for the holidays! Also making an appearance are the Cheesy “Corn” Fries, which is all the goodies from the corndog piled high on those yummy filmstrip fries!

Studio Catering Co.
The Plant-etarium Street Tacos are back this year at Studio Catering Co.. Also on the menu is the new Sleigh-Ride Slush , a frozen cranberry-apple lemonade.
Schmoozies!

New this year are the Peppermint Mickey Shake featuring a Peppermint cookies and cream shake, lots of whipped topping, holiday sprinkles and decor, and chocolate cream-filled cookie ears. Also new is the Churro Shake (!!!!) which swirls brown sugar-cinnamon ice cream, cinnamon churro cereal, whipped topping, and churro toffee!
We enjoyed the Peppermint Affogato last year but this year we have CHOICES — you can choose between peppermint or brown sugar-cinnamon ice cream!
See what we thought about the Peppermint Affogato last year!
Also returning this year are the Minnie Wreath Donut (which we LOVED!) and the Gingerbread Ice Cream Sandwich.
See our review of the Minnie Wreath Donut here!
Hollywood Lounge
Hollywood Lounge is the perfect spot to grab a festive drink. On the menu this year are a variety of beers and ciders including:
- Modelo Especial
- Stone Delicious IPA
- Stella Artois Midnight
- Honest Abe Apple Pie Hard Cider
- Holiday Hard Cider – Honest Abe Apple Pie Hard Cider with spiced rum
- Stone Xocoveza Stout Beer
- Hibernation Great Divide
If you’re looking for cocktails, the Mistletoe Mule pairs cranberry-orange lemonade with vodka and ginger ale. The non-alcoholic Sleigh Ride Slush at Schmoozies! can also be found here!
For classic drinks of the season, try the non-alcoholic Elf Nog or add a shot of spiced rum, making it the Holiday Egg Nog instead! For chocolate lovers, Winter Hot Chocolate stars hot chocolate, crushed peppermint, and whipped cream. If you want an extra nip in your cocoa, you can opt for the Wonderland Hot Chocolate, which is the same but with a shot of peppermint Schnapps.
Flo’s V8 Cafe
Flo’s V8 Cafe is serving up another Blue Plate Special this holiday season! This time, it’s the classic Salisbury Steak with an Angus beef patty, green chile mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and seasonal vegetables.
Returning is the Chocolate-Peppermint Shake. We weren’t wowed by this milkshake last year, but maybe this year will be different?

Cozy Cone Motel
You’ll be able to find the Sugar Cookie churro that looks JUST LIKE those classic sugar cookies. These would be great to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve… but we’re probably going to eat them all ourselves!
Also on the menu is the returning Luigi’s Pesto Cone which is a bread cone stuffed with chicken pesto alfredo pasta, bruschetta tomatoes, and a balsamic reduction. We LOVED this last year and are glad to see it returning!
Returning on the sweet side of things is that Crushed Peppermint “Road Gravel” Ice Cream Topping. It has a new friend in the Crushed Candy Cane Ice Cream Topping on the menu this year! Also new is a Peppermint Ice Cream Cone or Cup with holiday sprinkles and a sugar star.

Pacific Wharf Café is baking up their popular Candy Cane, Snowman, and Pull-apart Christmas Tree-shaped Sourdough Bread as well as a Mickey Gingerbread Man Cookie and Sugar Cookie with red and green sprinkles.

Is serving up fresh-baked loaves of shaped Christmas sourdough once again. The selection includes a Snowman, Christmas Tree, and a Candy Cane.
Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta
Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta is serving up their same holiday foods as last year, with the addition of the Mickey Gingerbread Cookie. The Holiday Dinner Pizza with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, bacon, vegetables, and cranberry sauce is a slightly odd way to have your turkey dinner in one bite!
The returning Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake is a fitting end to your turkey meal!
Bayside Brews
Is serving up a Karl Strauss Golden Stout, for all you beer lovers out there!
Lamplight Lounge
Lamplight Lounge’s returning Specialty Holiday Cocktail features aged tequila, mezcal, hibiscus, and lemon juice. It’s like a lighter take on a margarita! We love Lamplight Lounge, so any excuse to stop in here for a drink is a welcome one!
