CEO Bob Iger told attendees of Disney’s quarterly earning’s call yesterday that season 2 of The Mandalorian would be coming to Disney+ in October. While we don’t know exactly when in October yet, we’re just going to go ahead and circle the whole month as being important.
Iger added that there was potential we could see spin-offs of the show featuring some of the other characters. We would love a Cara Dune spin-off!
Disney+ has surpassed 28 million subscribers and Disney is already developing more original content for our entertainment. In addition to The Mandalorian season 2, we know that two Marvel shows, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision, will be debuting this year.
