We’re feeling those West Coast vibes because the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival has begun!
From now through April 21st, feast your fancy on a copious amount of California inspired eats and drinks throughout the park! The LA Style booth is back, baby! We have to say that we’re loving the updated look.
With a new year comes several new goodies and ONE returning item!
The Asian Style Beef Barbacoa Street Tacos have made their return this year! Priced at $8.00, they come with a generous portion and continue to be a good festival value.
New this year, the Smoked Bacon Barbecue Beef Loco Moco on Rice is Gluten-Friendly Item.
Priced at $7.50, it’s the easy stand out at the booth this year. There were a lot of fun textures going on here, the meat was tender, and the sauce was soooooo good (like lick your fork good).
Also new this year: SPIKED Monkey Bread! What?! The Monkey Bread with Caramel Whiskey Glaze and Candied Pecans is priced at $6 and contains trace amounts of alcohol. We are expecting sugary greatness.
In fact, the flavors were so good on this thing, we were actually willing to overlook our bread came out a little stale. We’re just going to chalk it up to first-day jitters! Pull-apart boozy Monkey Bread is totally going on our Best of the Fest LIST!
For beverages, LA Style brings us two alcoholic options.
The Blue Angeleno Cocktail is served on the rocks and you better hold onto your lil toothpick umbrella because this one is SOOO SWEET. We’re talking take a piña colada and then add three more spoonfuls of sugar in there SWEET. Priced at $13.00, it has a nice mix of fruity and coconut flavors, but you REALLY gotta like the sweet stuff to enjoy.
If caffeine with booze if your thing, they are also serving an Amaretto Stout-Cream Cold Brew that is priced at $13.00.
This one packs a punch and we’re NOT talking about the coffee… Amaretto made up for the bulk of the icy drink! This delicious and sweet coffee beverage showcases hints of tiramisu but the prevalent flavors are the Stout and Amaretto.
LA Style is serving up a pretty well-rounded menu this year, but the Beef Loco Moco was a clear standout! We may come back to give the monkey bread another chance, but fortunately, the Blue Angeleno Cocktail helped us finish our snacks on a sweet note!
